the blueberries can't give you a buoyant bee but basically here is how it works: all bees have a certain "favorite treat" and when you feed them their favorite treat it has a chance of turning the bee gifted so for example you would want to feed blueberries to a tadpole or buoyant bee for a chance of making it gifted (but the chance isn't high so it's not worth it)

Before you go into the hole to go fight the king beetle, try to wait for a baby bee love for a baby love token which gives a 50% loot luck bonus, which gives better chances for getting good items and most importantly, the king beetle amulet. You get windy bee by donating spirit petal to shrine then you up your chances by donating cloud vials post donating the petal. It may take a very long time. Edit: get your amulets better if you can.

First of all russo you should finish the spirit bear quests (which is what you're working on) or while you are doing the spirit bear quests save up for the coconut clogs they are a good temporary item to get before gummy boots so save up for that and once you've finished all spirit bear quests finish working on your blue hive and slowly grind for the gummy boots and tide popper. Edit: also boosting is a good way to get honey as well because it builds up your wind shrine favor which is a mechanic in the game that makes it easier for you to get windy bee after donating your last spirit petal to the wind shrine and donating 10 cloud vials at a time for a chance to get it. So I recommend like giving gifted eggs or silver eggs or even atomic treats to the wind shrine as they give good boosts and also build up your wind shrine favor.
