Honey, I first heard this song when it was fresh in 1972. It was the opening song to the album. I was 12 years old. When the song started, I felt some kind of emotional reaction that I never had before. It literally changed my life. So my friend and I heard this wonderful album all the way through. Then she pulled out Marvin Gaye’s album What’s Going On. Another huge impact, but completely different style. To this day, these are the two greatest pieces of music that will exist for me. I’m 65 and nothing has ever surpasse Led Zeppelin and Marvin Gaye.

This song was inspired by their visit to Iceland, & invasions of Vikings, especially in England. This song opened many concerts, & has been featured in several movies. The other song they opened many concerts, was Rock & Roll, both have that high energy to get the fans amped up. I’m glad you realize they are the greatest band, no other has or will compare. 1:07--You're right there..-In 1979, at The Who show in Cincinati, 14 people died after a mad rush like that, and concert promoters/bands said no more. Loved this song..The Vikings of old would've too... Perfect tune to blast from their ships as they approached the shores of whoever they were about to invade next.( Or when you're charging out of the tunnel to the field, like The NFL's Minnesota team did for years)
