A totally genius "target audience" concept for content delivery. Showing a quick little system tool usage tutorial, which was not complicated, but it was. Who are the people most likely to absorb this? Anyone already in a terminal. The same people will accidentally open vim. Compared to the number of people who will watch tutorials on system tools, and how many different ones they'd have to watch before learning so many (ps, grep, xargs, kill and even awk) commands... you've devised a clever way to deliver a excellent lesson on command operations, covertly, but still for a useful reason. You could have just told them 'pkill vim', but nobody learns that way. I dig it, and in a short. Very impressive!

First tip: use `killall vim`. Not `killall -9 vim`. Doing the second way (a brutal, immediate sigkill) causes the terminal to break and the scrolling to malfunction until the `reset` command is entered. The first way sends a sigterm, and the vim closes the window before exiting (but does not save changes). Second tip: use `killall vim`. It is a simple command; not a lot of things piped which would prove to be a nightmare for the noob who does not know what is what.
