if you are interested in his playthrough i would say its worth watching the VODs (if you have the time). he seems to enjoy the game quite a lot. watched a couple of VODs and the cut out content mostly consists of all the sidequests and him messing with his build, trying out everything the game has to offer. After the prologue he did like 4 hours of sidequests before doing the first real story mission. His playstyle is also interesting. Instead of blasting everyone and just finishing the missions no matter what, he takes his time and resets the checkpoints as many times as needed in order to be more elegant with his approach.

Most of the entire main story quest is in these videos, it's pretty well edited. Based on how fast he's leveling up you're just missing a lot of random exploration, looting, and side quests.

I did a few playthroughs of this game, but only one recently after all the changes in the update. That being said, I did my first playthrough as female V, and the voice actor absolutely crushes it. I thought the male V was great while I was playing, but doing a female playthrough felt a lot more immersive for me.

Yeah it’s a common criticism I’ve heard over the years. Male V just sounds stiffer and stuck in the tough guy voice while Female V has the same character but with more range

@@xzraiderzx308 Gavin Drea, the VA for male V is an Irish actor doing a 'American' accent...which may explain his slightly unnatural delivery. I still like it tho'... Most of the voice acting in the game is 'A' level.

@@r1pbuck ​ makes sense, not everyone is able to embody a completely different accent like Hugh Laurie or coincidentally Idris Elba. Don't get me wrong though his stoic performance is solid, fits the setting, just needed a bit more range for the emotionally charged scenes
