Couple of tips for you: - Always prepare your car in your garage, there's a lot of helpful stuff there. A repair spray fixes wheels, tyres, there's metal brush for rusty parts and a sponge for repairing the car paint. - There are diesel, petrol and 2 stroke engines - put correct fuel in! (2 strokes need oil and fuel mixed together) - The goal is to.... have a long drive - come by structures and collect better parts (you can do practicaly anything - put bus wheels on a trabant, fit a truck engine into a bike etc. - I'd say that's THE BEST PART of the game) Most structures have fuel too - Don't forget to eat and drink, pee and poo. You can pee into the radiator - There's a syphon hose in the attic. It's a hard mechanic to learn but can help - 1 2 3 4 buttons are for inventory - there are BASKETS that you attach to your car, and anything you put in them looses all physics and it cannot fall out loved the video btw

This game is worth playing when you're willing to put in the time and effort to learn how to use, and seemingly abuse its mechanics. It's a game about foraging and making the absolute best of what you have, even with the stuff in the starting home. If you come back to it, ever, try falling down the starting home's nearby well. You might find something fun.

@@SquishyTheVampire Brother, I recreated the Gigahorse by mounting the shell of a beetle on the back of a Plymouth Fury, complete with bus tires in the rear, and built a roof basket that held 2 barrels or fuel, oil and water each. The only limit in this game is your own imagination... And patience.

About the gun: That's a BB gun. Of course it does almost nothing. In some of the structures, you can find handguns, AKs, and shotguns, as well as the associated ammo for them, which will be much more effective. Swords and prybars also serve as melee weapons. That moped will only really work with a proper moped engine, its got no place to put a radiator so even if you did get it to run with the car engine it'd overheat immediately. You might be able to make a trabant engine work, although I havent tried that. As others have said, two stroke things need a little oil mixed in the gas. If you want to be cheatmode for fuel, keep an eye out for a derelict container ship in the distance. If you make it to one, you'll be set for a very long time, at least for oil, diesel, and gas. They're also be water there, although that's easy to find in large quantities elsewhere as well. When going full speed, many of the cars get near uncontrollable. If you want to actually make it a while in a playthrough, keep the speed lower. The controls are quirky and definitely take getting used to. Reading the controls map list might help you with learning it. Like, did you know your character has an inventory? It's four slots and accessible via the number keys.

This game is awesome! Some quick tips: Learn the controls and inventory, scavenge your whole house, fill up fuel, oil, and water in the radiator, remove rust with a metal brush and polish the car with the sponge and cleaning spray, use a basket for small items and food, bring the hose to siphon fuel from other cars, you don't need ammo in your hand to reload, it just needs to be in your inventory. There's a hidden revolver and katana in the house. I personally remove rabbits with a mod just to keep the zombies around. AND TURN ON THE RADIO!

You HAVE to try My Summer Car, you maintain a Finnish Satsuma car, and build and rebuild it from the ground up and maintain it and it’s surprisingly detailed down to rebuilding the gearbox and checking the timings. Also the pistons can blow out of the engine block lol. I think you’d get a serious laugh out of it. You can put weird things in the radiator!.

hey, so just a little tidbit, and this is more for the curious viewers who happen to see this and don't know, but would like to the reason the engine he pulled from the car didn't work for the bike was because that engine needs a radiator to run at all, at least by the game's logic the bike doesn't have a mounting slot for a radiator, so the only engines you can swap on a bike have to be air cooled turns out that the largest engine that is air cooled is the one in the VW beetle, and in a bike that thing rips

I play this game since 2021 and has 1000+ hours played. The next update is at end of september. I recommend you to give this game a try. Read the controls, there are a LOT of controls. 1,2,3,4 is the inventory. Main goal is drive for 5000km. Yeah that's a pain but this is what the game is about. In the starter house there is a hidden pistol with 6 bullets, the rifle is the worst gun on the game. But take it with you on the journey until you find a better gun or more bullets. If you have a Gas car, bring some diesel, you never know when you will need to swap to a diesel car and the same with a diesel car bring some gas. Ships are the best source of liquids, Gas, oil, diesel in barrels. You can drink, eat, piss and poop. You can store 2L of liquid and "piss" it. You can't un-mix liquids so beware with this. Take a bucket and piss there so you can drink water again. There's a lot more about this game see the wiki. I love that the first building other than starter house you find is the most useless one. There are items that are just "Decorative" and don't have a useful use, but bringing everything you can is funny.

Notes of importance to play: -use handbrake to not lose car - grab important things from house. -hose and sword are in the attic -use hose to connect nozzles to get so as not to spill. -wire brushes remove rust from car parts - sponges and cleaner spray bottles polish the wheels, rims and non rusted parts -the more damage to parts the more likely they are to fall off - you can replace any door or wheel or engine with any other version you can find. -gas types do matter, some require oil mixed gas -if it moves you can kill it -if you don’t have an air cooled engine have a radiator -top off all fluids -you can find real guns with bullets that aren’t the BB gun -a liquid car is a happy car

I used to play with my mate and he just spawned like 50 cars and then my PC crapped out because the game is just not optimized at all. One day it legitimately killed my PC. pro tip: you have an inventory. you were playing without using your pockets at all, which is completely insane. the game is essentially impossible to do anything if you don't use your pockets or the stuff from your house. generally if you spend a day at your house working on the car in there, it will last extremely long. you usually have way more fuel and water than you could possibly carry and the only reason to leave the house is because you will run out of food
