I FINALLY Played LO Classic Ep1

I finally decided to play some Classic LO after everyone has been messaging me about season 2 starting for this month. They've got some neat changes and gameplay loops so I go through getting my walker built, my base set up, and my first fight.

nostalgia! i remember when i still play this game and we had a small clan but with highly skilled members. We would just glide through maps with wingsuits and with all the materials in our inventory we can carry and raid big clans without being scared of losing a walker. I would be the guy carrying the mats to build ballistas on the ground and hold down walkers with harpoon (most players didnt know this) so my clanmates can board the walkers and take care of the driver, then i start tearing down the leg from another ballista from a distance. Big clans wouldn't mess with us coz we're a waste of time to find, we dont build big bases but secret bases instead. I miss my guys, long live Keebler Elves.

I think this is a good representation to why this server already dead cause the for a solo its not possible to fight the bigger groups and then you got groups like Bang who want to do 1v1 meanwhile one of them is shotting ballistas at you

just found your video's an got me looking into how to join one after finding a vid on LOclassic havent play this game since before season five dropped but herd an saw video's on the changes an never bothered looking into what classic was tell a random video popped up this is such a interesting game sucks how far it has fallin into the pile of discarded games

It wont be discarded for much longer with SDK coming out and they're working on season 6 as we speak.

Can you play the classic server with an xbox, or is it only on steam?

You have to enable Beta in the steam directory and it should be on there as "LO Classic" from there you can join the private server.

@@SkyKevin thanks I got it worked out. Returned to season 5 to check out the new features. I love the new rupu camps and pve so far though i hate the schematic system and how you can not permanent unlock most of the recipes. I think it was much better with the fragments and tablets and being able to get actual loot from raiding rupu camps.

i play solo and grind quality, i have had a 100 qual walker most seasons, but i said grind for a reason, lol

Do you like playing classic season 4 better than season 5 on live?

I'd say they're both good for different reasons. I like the direction of season 5 for more of an MMO game. LOC (classic) is more of a Rust style game so I don't treat it like an MMO I need to grind out. I like both so I'd honestly prefer these Classic LO Devs to use a lot of the content from Season 5 for their own private server means.
