I’ve been checking the calcs for a lot of Loomian, and it seems like Gloves Arceros breaks through nearly every tank in the game except for Defensive Phagenaut. So probably the most underrated Loomian in the game.

@H-Zorua-Enjoyer I was also heavily worried about boh, a friend of mine suggested using moreel on my team to deal with it - it's a lot slower than icigool, which means it can abuse it - it has shrewd blast to hit it - it also resists just about every move icigool has too moveset I'd suggest: zip-zap/thunderstrike (depending which one you think you'll have more use out of), landslide for coverage, shadow lurk as dark stab and to hit swirelle harder when it dodges, and ofc shrewd blast for icigool nature I run on mine is v sluggish, smart, robust, so if you wanna use this thing for that need this can work

so far I'm at hyper 1 (I haven't had much time to play, I'm drowning in school work) my team is as follows: gargolem-speed (moves are mudslide, slap down, icicle trap (I was gonna use barbs but tbh icicle trap takes less uses to maximize, and hits a lot for good damage compared to barbs, but I am risking fire type swap-ins), and provoke, item is obviously clutch plushie) terrafly (I decided to try this out because a friend said it was amazing now, and I may as well, moves are basically the same as other sets, I don't needa go into detail, item is bug essence (from speeder's set)) samarine (smh charonyx so dead to vice jaws frfr) (moves are plunge, vice jaws, thunder chomp, and fade away, item is metallic shell (suggested by a friend)) moreel (originally was gonna be malevowax, but I am ABSOLUTELY UNPREPARED FOR BANE OF HASTE, moves are zip-zap (I didn't initially have t-strike, I've tried so hard to save up for those but get forced to buy items, thankfully now I got 2/3), shadow lurk, landslide, and shrewd blast (icigool counter) item is milkshake) wintrix (moves are brain freeze (note, does not boost against mutagon, found out the hard way), jet stream, mud spatter, perch, item is mysterious dust (don't look at me, my much more pvp doing friend suggested it to be safe from status) boonary (because banokey) (item...it's obvious bruh, boots) and leshent, I was originally gonna run either bunnecki or soul burst gastroak, but like... gastroak is boring as hell, and I felt like bunnecki is a bit too frail for my liking and I didn't really have a tank (moves I was really indecisive on because it has so many, but I went with timber thrash, slap down, ice hammer, and reju) (item is health amulet) I would like to hear move suggestions for the leshent in case this doesn't work too well

also I was originally gonna use boh for ranked but I didn't know if it was good for it, that and my team for it isn't done anyways because I basically have to wait for balance changes, and for the devs to *_STOP GLAZING TRADERS AND GIVE US MINTS_* and honestly I think I dodged a bullet there also thanks jamie for planning to make sb icigool's ability go at the end of the turn, now boh is a bit harder to set up, and now I'm forced to use both obelost and cosmiore for setters that are bulky enough to not immediately die

team looks fine, although there are some problems you're going to have. you dont have any switch ins for lantorch, especially the wildfire specialty goggles sets. if you're struggling alot of charonyx, it might be best to look into something better than samarine like falkyrie that completely walls it and has recovery. you might also struggle with rain teams since deludrix can hit everything on your team for SE damage. you could try looking into a sponge dokumori to replace gargolem-speed, if you're only using it for icicle traps.

@JamiyJamie thanks man, been trying to get feedback for some time now just to make sure I'm 1000% certain this is a fire team also, the bit about lantorch and rain teams, yeah I'm fully aware, I tried my best to have coverage against it with samarine and gargolem-speed, only lost to one my first ranked loss was against a rain team tho, I only lost because that stupid deludrix wouldn't give me an opportunity to slap its boots off anyways guess I'll be rallying and prepping for another week then, the icicle trap thing was only just because when I was making the set for gargolem I was like "ok, I definitely want mudslide for hazard removal, slap down for items, and provoke because yes, what hazard?" and I just figured icicle traps would work better since gargolem doesn't live long enough to get enough layers in, and icicle traps hits certain loomians a lot harder for chip, so I just wanted to roll with that another thing, I was a little iffy on dokumori at first since I feel like spine break is better, but unfortunately for me there is no other loomian with a water immunity that can ignore zip-zap, so I guess SA dokumori it is I'm fine with falkyrie tho, I really only did samarine since it gives me a fire resist, plunge to avoid most electric attacks thrown at me, and vice jaws is getting that rework to ignore melee defense buffs, so I felt that would be REALLY useful, especially against obsidrugon but considering falkyrie, I'm definitely fine with using it, luckily has a move it can use to ignore plant walls, plus it's a ranged attacker so obsidrugon will have problems charonyx will be slightly harder to kill, only because I went samarine since charonyx's melee defense is lower than its ranged one (which was why I also went samarine), but oh well, magnify go brr lastly, glad to know the leshent moves are good enough, I had a REALLY rough time planning it out because it both has great move options and 4 move syndrome eq is good for fire types, ice hammer for bug types, briar block and sap plant are also useful, and dark stab is fine, slap down and tricky tactics being the other options but eh and don't even get me started on the other moves 😔 yapping aside, I'll go make sets for these new additions, shame I'll be losing samarine and gargolem-speed, they were both very useful, but these replacements should fill their roles perfectly thanks again for the feedback

looks fine for the most part if it works. probably a good idea to switch earthquake on garbantis for tamp. violana probably could do with peace of mind and maybe rejuvenate instead of gust/air blade. krakaloa could probably drop spectral burst for burn up instead. hollibunch could do with an entire new moveset: nova blast, life drain, pheroblast and flash n flee. biwarned itself is pretty underwhelming right now, i would recommend replacing it with another slow pivoter.

for the most part it looks fine, there are some problems though. morphezu has specialty boots but also dodge? trapping yourself into that doesnt seem like a good idea. you probably should replace expert onslaught with jet stream since you only have 1 other air-type, and thats a bequeath user. also you dont really need all seeing for this set, unless you're specifically trying to hit other people using dodge. imperior has the item specialty gloves, but it doesnt have a melee attack. try using heavy shackles instead. you can switch banana slam on banokey to rogue assault instead for more damage.

@@JamiyJamie What I'm trying to do with imperior is barter the gloves out to a ranged attacker then click health gift or provoke or tease. For Banokey I'm using it for utility so getting a daze off to hit themselves can cripple mons. But I really am new so Idk much. Ty !
