See thats why I love natural hair its the most versatile out of any hair you can wear it in a fro one day some defined curls the next and the braided styles are endless its just crazy how unique our hair is. Once you learn to care of it and learn to love what ever texture you have cant nobody tell you nothing 😎😎 beautiful wash n go as always!!! The down side to it is now im going through products quick the longer its getting my hair soaks it all up like a sponge. 😔 Im like medium porosity so my hair absorbs well but holds that moisture and curl when enough product is applied.

The shingling method is my absolute favorite way to style my curls. But instead of doing the curls small, I clump bigger curls which is a completely different look. The curls are always popping and it could probably last me 2 weeks, but I wash and restyle weekly.

I have found that the more I have used this method, the shorter time it takes once you get a rhythm going... i have a thick head of hair, and it usee to take me a little over an hour to do my whole head, now I have it down to a little more than 30 or 40 minutes

Yess, i agree. Water is needed and necessary. A go two must have for wash and goes. The shrinkage comes with the territory, time consuming too but worted.

It came out looking gorgeous of course. All that time to do it though, girl I can't even! I do shingling all the time. Just like you said, it takes a long time. I tried to shingling method but it didn't work out for me. My hair is just a thick as yours as well as the same curl type and I didn't think it would work and my hair didn't last 24hrs. But I notice in your other regular wash and go videos, you take and seperate a little and I didn't do that. So I will try that and apply more product to weigh it down and separate. I will also try doing it with the 3 row comb to see if it's way faster than shingling.

Would you try mixing the shingle method with your wash n go method to be less time consuming? I mixed finger coils and a twist out for added definition and they mixed well for me.🤷🏾‍♀️☺️😍 love your results ma’am they are out of this world!
