technically when you think about it, shotguns are actually optimal. you can't open rotates or remodel without them, or at least, not without spending precious explosives. and once everyone achieves perfect aim, combat will become "who can get the pistol tap first," so there will be no need for automatic primaries. shotgun meta is truly the future
