I Find a Vinyl Record worth over $150 at a Garage Sale. Plus Coins and lots of other Vintage Goods

It’s Canada weekend here! Which usually means a metric ton of Garage sales over the 3 day weekend. Unfortunately Saturday wan rained out. Luckily for me a small lakeside cottage community about 15 minutes away from me had a Sunday rain date. I lucked out and bought some vinyl records including a fairly scarce Pop Psych gem. I don’t usually deal in coins, but when they are being sold at less than face value I know what to do. Lots of other great vintage and antique items including a Gibson Amp Head and a 1968 Guitar.

I found a minty one in shrink wrap at a swap meet for $2 - flipped it at a record show for $200 - I'd never seen it before but you could tell it was something good.

Seriously. The only thing I can think is they didn’t think that they are still legal currency and worth the face value. In the baggies I have found silver pesos, modern Euro coins and all kinds of interesting tokens.

I have never even seen one at record shows when I used to sell at those. Crazy that it was at the back of the box and not considered “valuable”.

There is no such thing, that a vinyl record is worth $150 it’s if someone is willing to pay that amount.

While I agree with about thing only bro g worth what people are willing to pay. Discogs provides a list of sold for prices, and this particular record sells $150 plus on a regular basis, in VG condition. This one is a strong VG+
