The whole problem with the "If you kill the villain, who's next?" idea is that once Superman kills the villain, he's gonna want to kill the others too. And then, people are going to oppose that, so he'll kill/brainwash them. Once he crossed the line, it was impossible to turn back thanks to Wonder Woman. He was excusing murder because he was "doing the right thing" even though he was now judge, jury, and executioner. This applies to Injustice Supes, I don't know about other renditions of Superman though.

Injustice Superman is definitely a whole different character. Normal Superman is Clark Kent, simple Kansas boy, first and Superman, the Kryptonian alien, second. Don't get me wrong, as he grows up he becomes more in touch with his alien origins, but first and foremost he is the son of Jon and Martha Kent, he just happens to be an alien too.

Glad to see you finish Injustice 2 and get both endings. Personally I actually don't like Superman's ending, it really just doesn't sit right with me and really feels like they said...let's make a non canon ending. I prefer Batman's as it is actually the canon for Injustice 3 and really makes more sense. Personally I hope Injustice 3 tackles Wonder Woman as the villain finally, and maybe even allows for more story choices. Great video and series man.

Only reason Batman is winning is because his suit is made for his current situation. An enhanced suit, made to specifically fight Superman. Not the real Ain't-Superman suit, but a version of it that he can wear on the daily. The real suit Batman uses for Superman is not practical enough for daily use.

@@Curlynapsbro in the comics and even in the first injustice game it is mentioned that all the non super powered characters that are a part of the insurgency or with batman take a pill which is a kryptonian nano drug which allows people like batman, green arrow etc to match up to the strength and durability of these characters like superman black adam. It is not explicitly shown here but it assumed that they still use it.

In my opinion the injustice 3 campaign should play off of both endings. It starts off with Batmans ending where Bruce, Barry, and Hal are training the younger leaguers. They then send the younger leaguers on a mission (not really important to the plot) on this mission however, a giant portal opens up with superman and superman's army from supermans ending invading. At the end of the first level the evil Superman kills the good Batman. But as the good Batman dies he releases his Clark from the phantom zone setting up Clark's redemption story. It will then follow "the good ending" trying their best to stop and free " the bad ending" leaguers. How it ends I am up for any option. But this is a great way to tie back to the original multiverse plot and make both endings Canon.

If they were not, the Joker from the other universe would still have the strength and durability of a kryptonian and wouldn’t have been beaten. 1st of all, he can stand up to Wonder Woman because that’s NRS’ poor writing and he can stand up to Superman because Batman is smart and has plans to give himself a fighting chance against him. In the beginning, he uses a red solar grenade to dull superman’s powers and at the end he uses a gold kryptonite knife to dull his powers. Do you even know what happens in this game?

Yeah I don't know how feasible it would be to save the cities Braniac stole in the Injustice continuity. They look like they've been turned into data here but that whole plot point is a reference to the Silver Age comics in which Braniac did shrink down a Kryptonian city and kept it in a bottle as a prize. For some reason it was a project Superman had on the side that he had trouble solving. In one "what if..." comic he splits himself in to two different Supermen, they work together and save the city, even building a new Krypton for them to live on.

I technically agree with you on the Superman is not the main villain idea. I mean he is Darth Vader and the Joker is Palpatine. My idea is that Batman may not be a villain here either, but he sure isn't the hero in this story eather. He's the enabler. The preacher. He enabled the clown and preached to Superman, but had no real solutions to the issue. I mean his eternal solution is: This bad, that good, cause I'm Batman. My issue with the story in both games and comics is the inconsistency and hypocrisy. Harley is forgiven and never judged by the law for reasons, even when she helped murder millions and we should forgive her for reasons, but everyone else says the wrong word and they are automatically the bad guy? Now if everyone was locked up after Injustice 1, I say OK, that is good. Everyone has a reason to be in prison, Batman included. And The clown girl most of all. But the moment you start making excuses and exceptions, I'm out. So in this story Batman can F himself as he is the architect of this mess. The Joker pushed the domino's and caused the Chain reaction, but just like in the Joker movie when he said: I didn't do this, I just lit the fuse, the explosive was already there, caused by this flawed system. Flawed system, that Batman was defending at all costs and had no solutions or alternatives. Not saying that Superman's idea was better or good, but he was at least trying something different. I mean, if Batman's principle is to do the same thing over and over again, hoping to get a different outcome, that it the basic concept of insanity. And if anyone said: But the justice system is at fault, they should have killed the clown! Yes, they were, but the moment Bruce took the law into his own hands and broke the law via vigilantism (all heroes are in the same boat with this), he lost the moral argument. He has no moral argument to stand on. You are now breaking the law, beating and crippling those he sees as bad and no consequences? (Damian Wayne: You won't kill, but traumatic brain trauma is OK?"). You already stepped over so many lines, but this one is special? Why can other heroes in other comics kill and be fine? (Avengers). Sorry, but Batman's no killing rule sounds fine, on paper, but so does communism. Also had to laugh at the Batman plot armour card.

Yes. But that just makes things worse. Whenever Flash Time-Travels he creates an apocalyptic timeline, erases his current one, restarts the whole continuity or just permanently changes everyone. It’s also likely that the joker nuking Metropolis is a fixed point in time. Undoing it would either be impossible or destroy the universe.

I prefer the Superman ending more. Bruce's character development in this game is based around him widening his "circle of trust" which is started after first episode where he blew a grenade instead of potential compromise with Clark. It gets mentioned multiple times and other than Harley who got her "good side" character development in Injustice 1, others are his underlings or friends which is not hard for him trust them. But in the final episode where his development peaked he choosed battle advantage over comprise again by stabbing Clark. Plus, it would made Inj 3 story and roster more wide due to the planets in Brainiac's ship who Clark 100% gonna try to conquer. Also, Bruce inviting Supergirl who is already at his side to the "CIRCLE OF TRUST" in his ending after failing to wide his own is hella copium.
