I think the only reason Legacy sets have Kai commonly included is because the story (kind of chronologically too) started off with Kai, and it would be a tribute to how Kai was the first focus ninja in Ninjago

The entire point of 4+ sets is that they use less small pieces and are simple builds so that literal 4 year olds can build them without needing help. That is why they use big pieces and arent super accurate. And the original non-4+ Blade Cycle was like 4x bigger.

I do not think it would fit the 4+ set requirements. I am pretty sure stud shooters are to dangerous, the gray launching price and studs are also to small and considered a choking hazard, and more. Nice video though!

OH NO! What generic doesn't realise is that he hasn't effectively made them better. He has fallen for the trap of the 4+ sets. They are designed to encourage creativity, and that is what he has done. He brought a bunch of them and made them into something else, playing right into legos corporate hands! but maybe this is all part of a bigger plan, maybe the 4+ sets are meant to be so bad they just encourage creativity on a larger scale, therefore generic, lego has won. philosophy aside this new 4+ set actually looks genuinely good, mimicking official model characteristics, having the 2 most popular ninja to make it sell, and having a rare/hard to find fig (dareth). well done!

Did you just put stud shooters in a 4+ set? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that they never come in 4+ sets. I think LEGO deems them unsafe for the age range, but I don't know.
