The reason you get two sets of rabbits and ducks is to offset their production times. Their product is heavily dependent on daily luck so if you get an unlucky day they produce their item you have to wait until the next production time. If they're not on the same day you have two chances at daily luck to be in your favor a week.

Watching this video makes me realise that Therm is either insanely lucky or unbelievably unlucky and there is no inbetween. Sometimes it flip flops between the 2 states but there is never any middle ground 🤣

The reason you bought two rabbits and two ducks was to, yes, increase your changes of getting the feather and foot. You got them on separate days because (I think) there are cycles involved. Like, every three days or something you have a chance getting one, but you can get one faster somehow if the cycles are offset? I don't really get it. It has something to do with offsetting something.

Ya that's exactly it. As a note in your casual games it's also semi worth doing as well. Especially if you want a ton of ducks/rabbits. Buy them on different days.

I believe ducks produce eggs/feathers every two days, synced with goats producing goat milk. Rabbits produce every four days, so every two productions of eggs/feathers equals one set of rabbit wool/foot

As a note, you can get all kinds of goodies from the barrels and boxes. Gems, hardwood, wood, cave carrots. It's always worth breaking them whenever you see them. I also but a chest next to the elevator to dump and then continue mining.

in the mines, when you go to elevator levels there’s no point in expecting ores or gems on that level. always try and get or find a mineshaft as the next level down will be much better luck! :)

You can get gems, you can't get ore. One recommended strategy for gold is actually to get to levels that spawn diamonds and just reset constantly for diamonds.

Hey there, on day 1 go to Pierre’s and buy as many parsnip as you can and plant them all along with the ones given to you to start. Birds wont attack plants until after the 1st harvest and itll get you closer to the $3k in time quicker!

Not sure if I imagined it, but very early in the run at about the same time you got the ores, the guide said to prioritise making furnaces and smelting bars. At the very least, I remember many speedrunners having furnaces in their houses by the end of Spring.

Do it!! I just had fun trying to beat the community in the first year! I lost because of the truffle and the god damn rabbits foot. I hate raising animals in the game, thats just not how I play, BUT I will admit fishing is ALSO not how I like to play but managed to be the 3rd bundle I completed.
