You can buy the oem front frame rail assembly from overseas without issue. I bought it brand new from the factory for my 2017 R8 v10. Cost 12k but worth it. It’s a perfect fit and welds precisely into the bulkhead sleeves. You can certainly do it the way you are doing it but body panel alignment will be very difficult to get back to eom. Good luck.

that hood latch is truly a pain. make sure you don’t switch the connector for the hood latch and the emergency latch. They’re very similar. Had that happen to me and left me confused. With the frame you really should’ve put all the panels on to test fit them because it’s really hard to get good fitment but good luck with the build 💪🏾

The ONE single thing that bothers me bout this channel is sometimes this guy and the other dude do this pronunciation thing where you end a sentence over pronouncing the last three or four words. It’s not a sales pitch tone but it reminds me of something. Yall had been a lot better about it over the last few videos but there was A LOT of it in her lol it’s just a very unnatural sounding and feels like I’m being spoken to as if I don’t understand English well or am stupid. Idk, just a pet peeve of mine for this channel. Outside that this channel is damn near perfect as far as content, quality, length of videos, all that. Of course I prefer certain videos like this, the garage work, over the scrapyard walking because if I wanted to go window shopping for shit I can’t afford then I can do it irl lol not speaking for everyone but I’m only concerned about actual buys of projects and working on them.
