Hey Josie , As an Aussie who has a mixed family I travel to Hyderabad to be with my mums family a lot and I love the place. My dad and me however are terrible at speaking Telugu which is what mum speaks while dads Aussie and American. Here in Melbourne there’s a lot of indian people and restaurants but the real feel you get to go to India is amazing. We rotate by going to america or India and I love it. Hope you enjoy staying in India and in Hyderabad which is a place I love going too. I love your channel and your content and hope you go to more places❤

I am so glad to see you enjoyed your stay in India! I am also a fan of Australia and their wildlife ( except the cassowary lol). And I have also seen this people who are from North of India have said that learning Tamil is difficult. So I understand how you feel. But if you know one of the languages of South you can try guessing what they're saying because there are a lot of similar words in all 4 of em. Telugu Kannada Tamil and Malayalam. The same even for Hindi and Sanskrit( Hindi and Sanskrit have same writing script) at times.

@@josieliftsthings thank you so much for sharing so honestly. It must be truly hurtful to receive negativity. And I guess it is difficult in this world to stay positive. It takes years for a tree to grow but a matter of minutes to raze it to the ground. The “burden” positive and humanistic people carry is always tough. If we read about lives of great people in history - we can see a similar trend. I will hope and wish you never give in to the negativity that you may encounter in future as well! And for Iranian chai I too will recommend Soda Bottle Opener walla (they make authentic Iranian chai as this restaurant is a Parsi restaurant ) and cookies Karachi bakery is good but they have a upscale place called "45th avenue by Karachi bakery " where they use actual butter to make cookies. Must try!!!

The essence of Nawabi cuisine and the royalty of Nawabs can be felt in the air of Hyderabad. Biryani is not just a delicacy but its an emotion to Hyderabadis. I am wondering why didnt you try the original mutton biryani? Chicken biryani is like a knock off, of the real mutton biryani. Anyways i am glad that so many of the famous food vloggers just fly into Hyderabad only for the biryani. The city of Nawabs welcomes all its guests.

3:58 just want to correct you guys, Irani tea has nothing to do with Persian muslims actually Zoroastrians from Iran introduced Irani cafes in British india especially in Bombay which is now Mumbai... Also Hyderabadi muslims had nothing to do with Persia, royal family of Hyderabad who are known as Nizam were actually descendants of first caliph of Islam Abu bakr as-siddiq (may allah be pleased with him) who settled in Bukhara or Samarqand in Uzbekistan which are tajik speaking cities and then came to India and became governor of Deccan in Mughal India and later established their own kingdom after rebellion, yes some muslims have foreign origin such as from Yemen, Central asia maybe even Persia but majority are local Indian converts .... Persian influence in the city is due to mughals and other muslim empires as most muslim empires in india was persianized and persian language in india was like English this is why many hindus and sikhs also used to learn persian it was must learned language to achieve a big post in the government, you will be shocked that Hyderabad alone has more persian manuscripts than Iran, also most hyderabadi muslims are sunnis unlike Iran which is shia majority so average hyderabadi muslim will criticise iranian anyway but he will be proud of mughals and nizams...
