I'm right over in Kissimmee and I never go to Sun n Fun lol. Is that bad? haha I'm that guy who likes to get there and leave whenever he wants and not get stuck trying to get in or out. Maybe one day but the older I get the more I hate crowds :) Good stuff seeing ya so close.

I want a 150 but im 6'1 240 and dropping ill hit 220 in a few weeks the wife is 120, all my buddies keep saying a 150 isnt good for much but training and how if i want to get anywhere fast i need to get a 172. They are quadruple the price of a nice 172. I like that the 150 is a little guy i dont need speed but if you had the money what would you get? should i just go 172 and be done with it?

I mean, technically yea you’d be producing more parasite drag. But it’s negligible, worst thing is you’d probably be using slightly more gas.

I think you may have mixed up some of the audio. There was a 172 in front that was the one rocking his wings over the smoke stacks and got that "perfect heading" call. I wasn't in the video linked below, but I did see his video and was up in the pattern that morning. Just a friendly reminder to really be careful coming into sun n fun, it gets crazy up there and you gotta be sure you're the one they are talking to and make sure you're at the marks they said. It worked out, but you don't want to be the guy that rocks at the wrong time and assumes the radio call was for you when it was actually meant for the guy ahead. And not to nitpick too much, but during the audio of the rock and perfect heading, you can see the smoke stacks were still a good distance away. Gotta make sure you're over the smoke stacks when they call over the smoke stacks
