Don´t land inside the fences at the valley flats and if ya `ve to, close to a door :-))) The C5 is nice to fly ?

Haha we can always plan our takeoffs, but never our landings! The C5 is dam amazing. I don't have the experience to compare it with a C, but on bar it keeps up with the C's (tested it in comps) in both glide and speed. Handling is epic in turbulence - can push bar or use C risers to bring back to trim for really rough patches then continue on bar. Good energy in climbs, nice feedback for collapses. I'm super happy - she will keep me off a C for a good while I believe. Hope the feedback can help you.

Hi! Going down to SA (Porterville and Wilderness) next week, looking forward to that. I have the same glider as you :) . How is the flatland in Porterville? No-go or flyable?

Hey there! The flatlands are great there. Sometimes they work better than other days, generally we say work the foothills of the mountains at first then when the day switches on, you go into the flats. Epic flying though. Check out my other video I made "Koringberg XC". That site is south west of Porterville, but I flew into the flats of the Porterville Valley. Also, look up the Glen club in Cape Town. There's a paragliding club there and they have a whatsapp group which will give you lots of information and you'll probably find people to go fly there with and get sire briefings etc. Porterville is great, but it's also super strong at this time of year so be safe 👌🏼

Oh yeah, also look up air school paragliding cape town. You will speak to Ria - he's an experienced pilot from that area and a good person to fly with. It's really a good idea to fly with a group there and not solo👍🏼
