I flew to another state for artist alley but was it worth my time? (Anime Impulse Seattle)

With some extra funds I had after the tax season, I decided to try flying out to a convention for the first time in my first year of artist alley... but was this decision really worth it? Watch to listen to some of my thoughts as I flew out to Seattle from California for Anime Impulse's event! Some interesting things happen, including my microphone cord blowing up, which meant the last segment of my video was all post-commentary, but do you guys like that style of editing? What else should I try and show in these videos? Should I share numbers publicly? Many more questions still linger as I try to navigate my artist alley journey in my first year starting only with stickers.
I'm a 22-year-old artist who just graduated from college and is trying to live their childhood dream of turning art into their career! I started my tabling journey 8 months ago, and it's been a wild ride so far! Looks like you had a good time. As long as you made back expenses it makes for a good convention revenue wise. Also, you mentioned you want to do art full time which is awesome. Lots of artists do get up to that point where they can so I hope the same does happen for you to pursue your passion as the main source of income. Keep up the good work! From one dealer vendor to another artist vendor.

excellent body of work. rip the gopro D: cinematic advice: if you have drone footage, utilize it more. make title screens with it. add text over it. add some cinematic ass music on top of it. slo mo it. the footage looks really good but we need more of it !!

May I ask when you travel do you get a sales license for that area/state?

yeah! usually, I get a sales permit for the area/state, but some events have specific forms you'd fill out when applying/sending in supplementary information to the organizers.
