Please don't feel embarrassed about needing a decent meal. Doing a difficult walk then having chicken broth is ridiculous, definitely not enough fuel for your body. I guarantee you weren't the only one who wanted to eat something more substantial but you said something, good! Frankly it's irresponsible for them to promote that kind of activity with insufficient food
@alexarobertson177 ай бұрын

Incorrect, you do not need to “fuel the body” after a hike, you need to fuel it before a hike. They probably served slow releasing carbs at breakfast such as oats. Molly probably didn’t eat all of it as she’s a fussy eater. Meaning she was hungry a few hours later. Having a nutritious soup AFTER moving your body is perfectly fine. It doesn’t make sense to eat carbs after moving your body 😂. Anyone who knows about nutrition and health can tell you that.
@jojomarch7 ай бұрын
anyone who tells you that you can't have carbs when you are hungry, and want to eat carbs is promoting restricted, disordered eating. Thank god young women have someone who actively promotes an approach to food that is not toxic. You also need to fuel your body for the rest of the day, this includes your brain, which uses most of the energy we get from food.@@user-ii4rq5ko3x

It is sad that you felt rubbish about your eating, I'm so sorry molly! I think it is really important to note that everyone has different bodies and metabolisms!! Molly you have also had Bambi!!! I don’t know how many other women there had given birth within the last year, but think about all the body hormone changes! You need to fuel your body however you normally do. You know what works for you and what YOUR healthy is! Especially recently, social media is portraying 'health' almost as disordered eating. You are healthy already!! It is so lovely to see you thrive by yourself and have a 'you' trip!! lots of love

You saying about the food portions at the retreat unlocked a memory of when I went to Ibiza on a similar retreat and by day 3 I was that hungry from the small portions and felt comfortable vocalising it, that for the rest of the trip it was a running joke that I needed double portions and everyone always gave me what they didn’t want. The personality that makes her only aspire to be envied on instagram rather than aspiring for a good career, be aspirational to other, be a hands on Mother etc. Anyone who prides themselves in seeing her as relatable need to ask themselves why. All she has to vlog is rearranging thousands of pounds worth of products in her bathroom rather than a healthy morning routine, taking Bambi to a play centre, going into an office and working, cooking a meal etc. There are many other influencers who have good, positive substance to their content and who’s personalities are inspiring.

It sounds like the diet that people were eating was really restrictive - especially the chicken broth would not be enough for anyone, so please don’t penalise yourself or feel like you’ve ‘failed’ for not following that kind of diet when actually that really isn’t realistic and probably not healthy for most people xx

@@paulinepaterson7392 a hysterectomy doesn’t get rid of endo though so I hope you’re coping okay.
