Welcome to Australia Terry, 🇦🇺🦘🐨 You brought to Sydney what has been missing for many years. Joy and happiness. You’re a real blessing. Thank you. You were actually within about 500m of 2 beautiful old pipe organs. One in the Town Hall and one in the old Uniting Church in Pitt St. Plus you went past the Sydney Opera House which has a famous pipe organ.

Hey Terry! I'm a big fan of yours and Brendan's. You both inspired me to take up piano at age 60, over five years ago. I'm a Londoner, myself, living in Sydney the past 30+ years. Pleased you made it over. Yes, the QVB is the best place in Sydney to play publicly. There used to be (maybe still is) a grand piano 10 minutes walk (on level 2?) in the Westfield, opposite David Jones but that piano is hidden from view so only a good place for a beginner like me to practice. There are other places with a piano, such as the Gaelic Club on Devonshire Street, Surry Hills and also the Polish Club in Ashfield. Both evening venues most weeknights. Good luck on your travels!

Thank you for watching my latest video here on my KZbin Channel, Andy. Thank you for telling me about the other pianos available to play in and around Sydney. I was only in Sydney for two days so I didn't have enough time to check all of the public pianos out but hopefully the next time I'm there I'll be able to do this. I was in Sydney on this occasion to play a show with the band, Primal Scream at The Enmore Theatre, Sydney. We then went onto Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We are on our way back to The UK now. Thank you, Australia for the wonderful welcome and for being a fantastic audience. All the best, Andy in Sydney & the whole of Australia. Terry Miles 🙏🤠🇰🇾👍

Terry embarked on a thrilling and unpredictable journey through time, determined to find Alana, the mysterious girl from the year 3000 AD in Australia. Each leap through the ages brought him face-to-face with challenges he could never have anticipated. From the ancient past, where he marveled at grand civilizations and their secrets, to the distant future, where technology surpassed his wildest dreams, Terry's mission was fueled by curiosity and an unshakable resolve. Alana, a girl shrouded in mystery, was not just a figure from tomorrow but a beacon of hope and knowledge, holding answers that could change everything. Along the way, Terry encountered allies and adversaries, each shaping his quest and testing his determination to reach her. Time itself seemed to conspire against him, but Terry's unwavering belief in his purpose kept him moving forward, closer to unraveling the enigma of Alana and the destiny she represented.

About 15 years ago during the Festival of Sydney there were about 10 pianos, all second hand in various conditions and locations available for public use as an art installation. There was one on the Manly ferry, another outside the QV building, the forecourt of the Opera House, one in Chinatown near Paddy’s markets, Wynyard near the bus stops and a few other places (she couldn’t remember all the locations). My sister and her daughter tried to find them at the time all but couldn’t. . She played preschool songs on them like Bananas in Pyjamas and attracted a lot of children. She was a preschool teacher.
