We would be seeing it on the news like, "Former BBC Correspondent Attacked by Asian Moms" or something. And the conclusion in the last paragraph would be, "Their actions were ruled as justified in court." (I'm just kidding, of course. She sounds like a nice woman. I hope she learns how to properly cook rice.) Update tho: It isn't her recipe. She wouldn't cook rice that way. The only thing I would take against her was using that metal spoon at the end. (Which is not much if you have the money to buy a new set of cooking tools and pan.)

Lemme tell you the Indian way (or the way my mom makes it): Note: my mom drains the rice but it's because we use Basmati and it cooks a little different. 1) Take a small glass (we have a metal glass) and dip it in the rice container (a big, round metal container that we keep under the kitchen slab). 2) Look through it to remove any hay or whatever, clean it with water once and then let it soak in clean water in a metal pot for around 25 mins. (Use a lot of water. Just leave a few inches off the top.) 3) Take the pot and put it on stove, full heat. Place a lid and let it come to a boil. 4) After its boiling, remove the lid and stir the mixture. Taste a few bits of rice. If it's not too tight and has become edible, turn off the stove. 5) Drain the water. DO NOT WASH THE RICE PLEASE. And place it again on the stove for a few minutes.

Me, seeing all the comment saying that this vid copies Nigel/Uncle Roger's react vid: Hey, at least in this version Mike actually tried to remake the recipe. Uncle Roger just reacted and show his opinion about it. Also, to be fair Hershia did mention later on that this wasn't her usual way to cook rice. Just that she was told by BBC to cook it that way. And Hershia and Nigel already made a follow up video on this.
