If you watch this war from the Slovenian perspective, its actually a pretty interesting story, first we get back the land we lost to Croatia, when it falls to Bosnia, then we get revenge against Austria by taking the land they took from us and then push all the way to germany, before crumbling and falling to Bosnia into a Neo-Yugoslavia, before being absorbed by Poland, thus realizing the idea of Zapadoslavia, until history repeats itself and we get annexed by Italy like in WW2 and later become the front for their war with Bulgaria, then becoming part of the new Ottoman empire, before being devoured by the Bulgarian tsunami
