People, Master of Gu is an adaptation of a novel called Reverend Insanity. He didn't explain the story start properly but the reason he was reborn was also the reason he had to bomb himself, it's his immortal Gu spring autumn cicada that he refined by using the blood of millions. It's power is sending the user back in time, but there is a catch, the more you use it, the worse your luck gets. Plus, the manhua is only a decent adaptation is at best and it hasn't even adapted 10% of the story and he read 27 chapters of that, you can tell why he hadn't found it interesting. Plus, the schemes and the smartness of the characters somehow feel lower in the manhua where as I'm the novel everyone is smart and smart characters are disgustingly smart. One thing I like about Reverend insanity is that the mc is genuinely an ruthless villain who does everything for his goal. He would even boil children if it furthers his goal. If that interests you, do read it. Be warned though, the novel has 2200 chapters. And 650 chapters are just the introduction.

There are some real gems in the Manhwa world. I will be giving GOSU and Ordeal a shot thanks to this video. Here is my short manhwa recommendation list: 1. Academy's undercover professor: It's your typical fantasy world settings with magic, swordsmanship, etc. But it adds a little twist. The main character is a mysterious man that had multiple different personalities for the sole purpose of achieving his goal. A goal that he has not yet reached because now he is stuck as an academy professor due to unforeseen circumstances. He “hates” it and just want to go back to working on his life goal. 2. Omniscient reader’s viewpoint: This one is unique in the sense that it incorporates a 4th wall without actually doing a 4th wall for us readers. The main character is a manhwa reader and for many years. He kept reading a manhwa until 1 moment on the train, the author uploaded the final chapter. Then the author as a reward gifted him a file that contained all 1k+ chapters as a thank you for being the only reader that kept reading his manhwa. A few moments later, reality turns into fantasy as the main character realizes that the world in the manhwa he was reading all this years has merge with reality. 3. Pick me up! (aka: Infinite Gacha): I almost didn’t give this one a chance because of the “gacha” title and the bad experiences playing mobile gacha games. But man does this manhwa brought back some memories and glad I gave it a chance. It’s almost similar to omniscient reader’s viewpoint in a sense that the main character is a pro gacha player (one of the best in the world) but then one day he gets sent to the gacha world he was playing in. Now as an “npc” character. He has to learn to survive and adapt the world he is so familiar all while also trying to “guide” the master (noob gacha player controlling the world the protagonist got transported in) because one wrong move the noob-player master makes = death. 4. Murim login: The protagonist is a low rank hunter in a world where people make a living hunting other monsters that show up from gates. He then later picks up a VR machine and accidentally logs into a game with murim setting where Martial Arts proficiency is king.He is able to escape the world after many hardships. Now the strength and skills he received from the murim game are carried over to the real world. This allows him to raise his rank as a hunter and make a living. But he comes back to the Murim world out of care for the NPC friends. 5. Rooftop Swordmaster: This one has one of the best revenge buildups I have ever read and I have read a lot of mangas/manhwas/manhuas (550+). Very edgy setting but we all love some carnage every once in a while 😀. A boy bullied and forsaken is chosen by a sword that falls from the sky and lands on his roof. Fueled by hatred, he is determined to unleash hell towards those that ruined his life and wage war to a corrupt system. If you find this story interesting then give the side story manhwa build in the same universe a chance. Called: “Arachi from rooftop swordmaster” there aren’t many English translated chapters though.

I love this video so much! You really put alot of work into this and I appreciate that alot. There are two Manwha of these that you have to continue reading, Lookism and The beginning after the end. Ive been reading Manwha since years and these are together with Tower of God my favs, The beginning after the end got me into reading my first novel and it also made me addicted to it, Ive bought the audio books, binge read the novel and waited for the next volumes like an excited little monkey. It really becomes better and better the more you read it and also way more complex and the predictability goes away pretty fast, Ive also read the Mushoku Tensei Novel but have to say that TBATE is a better but diffrent version (cause they get compered alot) would really recommend continue reading it for your own good! And Lookism ofc probably one of the most dropped Webtoons and you may wonder why, it made an completely 360 with everything, many ppl dropped it around chap 100 (it has 570+) because it wasn't really a slice of life highschool chill Manwha like many thought but more like Tokyo Revengers if I can say so. It gets alot deeper and brutal, more fights, more conflicts, more diverse themes and topics and so on... I can remember when I first started reading Lookism (right after TOG and Solo Leveling) I hated it or rather found it boring/hard read, I browsed through Webtoon at that time reading Manwha after Manwha and dropped Lookism like 3-4 times just to pick it up, read 20 chapters, and drop it again. Till I was at one point ot the story where it completeply changed my mind, I was getting addicted to it even tho I didnt really like it at first and now im here, reading the weekly chapters since 1-2 years and its prob my 1# Manwha. In Lookism you can see how some characters change over time to the worse or better from ally to enemy or the opposite, the reader goes through such an rollercoaster with changing genres each arc, chapter or even pannel. The Manwha goes through topics like: Lookism, bullying, cheating, runaway families, gambling addiction, child abuse, 🍇, cults, scaming, prison life, homeless lives, poor parenting, poor households providing for their families, no parenting, high parenting standards/asian standards, high beauty standards, racism.... In one chapter you see the best backstory written in fiction just to see the mc fighting for his life in the next one. I love how some antagonists aren't evil and have their own reasoning for doing what their doing while others are just pschychopaths and you sometimes don't know which side you should roote for. I also love seeing how much the art improves while reading further into it. It really isn't a ordinary piece of fiction and I would recommend it from the bottom of my heart! You should try Global examination! The characters are clever, the art is stunning and the exams (survival games) are dealt with so well, it’s tense but the characters are so fun and reckless yet also super clever at the same time it’s also a bl but the romance is not much the focus (yet is still so perfect) it’s mainly about the brains and exams it’s so underrated but I really recommend it, the novel is also a very easy but incredibly complex, fun amazing read!

I have two i realy want you to cover 1.-Player, clasic reincarnation story but the character development and plot twists are out of the world. Honestly most dumb manhwa isekai is better than Musoku Tensei. Tbate is just a surprisingly good isekai, And in my opinion Musoku Tensei is actually only around mid tier. It's just one of the most popular because it got a good adaptation, and works well in anime form. It's more a case of there being almost no decent isekai anime in the last 5 years. I think i have read over 500 isekai manga/manhwa/manhua at this point. Picking out the good ones. Even those sometimes kinda ruin the story at the ending like: The death mage doesn't want a fourth time (from what I've heard from japanese WN readers). Kinda rambling sorry i just don't get why Musoku Tensei is held up as a good standard for the genre lol.

@@Kiritomens wdym mushoku tensei is only popular because of the anime adaptation and because it works well in anime form? Why do you think people call it "the grandfather of isekai" ? That wouldnt make sense if people are talking about the anime, since thats pretty recent. Mushoku tensei had a web novel, light novel, and manga before the anime. Those are what popularized most isekai tropes that you see and inspired a lot of other isekai stories. In fact, tbate's author actually admitted that tbate was inspired by mushoku tensei in a reddit AMA a while ago

@@nikita_goriachev Yeah I guess it's pretty old by now, the WN started around 2012 or so. I first came in contact with the manga around 2016 or so, but grandfather is a bit far fetched right. I'm pretty sure by that time Isekai was already massive. Also the tropes where really not that original. They are mostly just the same ones used in the 20 years before it with a new coat of paint, Wich is fine. My argument was just people using it as an example against every Isekai ever, since the anime came out. The point being that the anime made this series receive more credit. When I personally thought it was just ok to good. So it was just my thoughts on the matter.

I highly reccomend you keep reading lookism, the start is fairly mid id rate it like a 5/10, and it takes a while but around chapter 170 the series starts to have a complete turn around (it doesnt really focus on discrimination based on looks anymore turns into a fighting manwha) and imo is a 10/10 especially the current chapters

man you are criminally underrated, the editing and dedication is insane, keep up the good work :) My main manhwa reccomendation would be: Omniescent Reader's Viewpoint: This manhwa is honestly my favourite. The worldbuilding and the power system is super thought out and complex, i might be wrong but i think this is where the "Constellation" trope came from, and it is definitely done the best by ORV. Really i just love everything about the world. While the MC has OP abbilities, he still struggles, and the side characters are important too. There are a lot of mystery involved too and its not like a lot of other manhwa which i just read while turning my brain off and forget about it in a day, i found myself thinking about it quite a lot, coming up with theories and explanations. At first it might seem generic, but it gets more and more fleshed out and complex every arc. Really its just an amazing read, the story, the world, the characters, the art i loved it all. Some others i liked are: SSS Class Suicide Hunter Revenge of the Iron Blooded Sword Hound The Reformation of the Deadbeat Noble The World After The End (same author and universe as ORV) Absolute Sword Sense

My favourite and best manwha I have read so far is Kubera, Fantastic series, fantastic lore and depth, the way the writer weaves multiple story lines together is absolutely fantastic. I will always reccomend this manwha. Its very long though but so worth it! Its such a gem! For a simple but very satsfying action filled manwha, I really enjoy Solo Leveling. But for a world that you can analyse and look deeper into, Kubera is definitelly number one for me. Better than ANY manga or manwha I have read :) It is a bit slow in the begining and it can be very diologue heavy but its amazing

I have a few raccomandations: -Survival Story Of A Sword King In A Fantasy World: good story and really good world building. The mc is op but there is a reason why he is so strong (and he has to suffer to be so powerfull) and the characters are good. A really good read in general. -SSS-Class Suicide Hunter: start as your tipical fantasy story but it touchs so many differt topics and geners in a way that I never seen in any other webtoon/manwha (it gets often very emotional ) - Murim Login: good fights with a bit of story. A funny story with good fights, nothing else -Hero killer: a webtoon that i suggest if you want to see a mc who doesn't care about killing. PS I only have two things to Say about the video itself ( which Is really good): -Sometimes your voice is a bit too low and the effects are a bit too High -Sometimes the Moments of silince for the joke are a bit too long This Is just my personal opinion so I don't want to see you as an attack but just observations ( Sorry for any error in the text)

Bro my relationship with the breaker is wild. I was 5 chapters into the breaker eternal force which is the 3rd instalment when I found out it was the sequel of the sequel so I read the 1st and 2nd instalments in 2 and a half hours. I still don’t know how I speedran them so fast since they collectively are around 200 chapters but I think it was because I wanted to read eternal force. I then read 5 chapters of eternal force and got bored realising I didn’t enjoy the first 2 series either and just read them to get to the 3rd one. That was 2.5 hours I’m never getting back.

Hey, I found some really good manhwas that I will recommend that you will enjoy, but no worry that they aren't really videogame or reincarnation ones: "UnOrdinary" - It's like "Weak Hero" with superpowers. It got well-written characters with wholesome relationships and the fight scenes are wicked awesome. It also has a very driven story-plot. "Grand Reign" - It reminded me of InuYasha in the way,but it takes place in a fantasy world. It got beautiful art style and wicked magic system with adorable characters. "City of Blank" - I think you will might judge it as a furry manhwa when you will read at first,but it's get better. The fight scene is wicked cool and the mc is very interesting. "Immortal Weaking" - It's about superheroes. It got nice artwork and cool fights.

@@FinalSomow I recommend you read the greatest estate developer and return of the crazy demon. Both of them are korean comedy and actionish manhua. I love them so much. I look forward to the greatest estate developer so much that even after like 5 months of no updates it was constantly on my mind. It has made me literally fall off the couch laughing. The faces in it are so good too. Art is nice as well. The return of the crazy demon is very good too. A bit bloody but nothing you have to censor. Its also super funny and the mc is batshit insane and doesn't care about anyones opinion basically.
