I had the game on my wishlist for a while now and was inspired by your video to finally try it out. Seriously how can u land such technical tricks so clean o.O I have hundreds of hours in skate 3 and steep and really can't get used to the strange controls of shredders 🙈

the controls are tough to learn for sure! I played the snow board game which was made by the same devs and it has the same controls for the most part so coming to this game wasn't that bad for me

@@TheOldPotato I don't think I know this one. I only played 2 other snowboard games besides steep, ssx on Tour which was very funny but 100% arcade and no realism at all and snow... a free2play realistic snowboard game where the controls were different too I think 🙈

Except no because we want closer to real. Avalanches are real, but the amount of effort put into avalanche safety with backcountry snowboarder, avalanches are alot rarer than you think.

I tried this for the first time the other day. Pretty solid Sim. Hard game for sure, the controls feel a little unintuitive to me. Then again, the last snowboarding game I really played was the amped series this was inspired by. Was hoping for an experience more like those but pretty happy with what this offers.

I wish these games weren’t so focused on jumps and tricks. Sometimes it’s far more satisfying to just curve lines down a huge mountainside with deep powder flying everywhere. I know the developers want to give the players incentive, but when it’s jump after jump and rail slide after rail slide……it gets boring. Just let me have a nice long relaxing line from top to bottom, creating my own tricks out of the environment when I explore. A nice massive mountain to shred down without any artificial garbage that has me jumping around and flipping every five seconds would be all that is needed. Otherwise it just feels arcadey and gamey.

Still a better game than the jerry sim that steep and riders Republic. Yeah alot of presses are missing on rails, but steep at start was missing alot of very basic tricks. It was like they took about snowboarding and just ignored actual snowboard culture for the dumb shit they seen on Instagram. This they atleast got most that down by taking feed back from pros and beyond the medals. Also, the on park is based on Olympic Park, watch some the clips from it, was sick.

These huge snowboards with long tails and noses are so ugly in shredders, park riding in real life is best with shorter decks. The Snowboard Game did a way better job when it comes to style.

This game looks horribly basic and floaty, also the animation is stiff. I guess when you want a new snowboarding game you'll lower the bar on what you expect. Hopefully this game is good when it's done.
