i love this redesign, but i would like a special animation when you hold a mask and you are closse to a umvuthana, they will make like they are talking, because the barakoas were ultra social and the umvuthanas are... a bit strange

The umvuthi and Abavuthana have too much of an alien and ominous vibe to them that doesn't at all fit the vibe of the Savannah or their connection to the Sun. The Abavuthana would be better as a Moon based tribe

​​@@ashuraomega1000 this may be intentional, I recall when mowzie announced the change he also wanted to make the birds "invaders" instead of a tribe that naturally resides in the savanna. Because attacking the barakoa village was the player "practicing colonialism" which he thought was problematic

I can understand some people don't like these type of changes but i think it fits the themes with the other mobs better. Less human like, more mythical.

All mobs in mowzies mobs are mythical creatures except barako he looked like a human who was sorta possessed with a curse after wearing the Sol Visage (his mask) that made it so instead of having a heart the mask is his heart and if destroyed causes it to become wearable as well as his entire body quickly returning into the mask all baraoka tribe members will also be destoryed (.. i wonder why? maybe barakos mask is bound to all the others who wear some of the masks and thus when his mask is destroyed all others in radius are also destoryed tho with that being said.. do the others maybe have the same curse and have been infected with the curse by barako himself..?) but yeah Umvuthi the Sunbird is way more mythical than the big fat pimple we used to have

i hope they add the barakoana as a type of neutral Villagers back at some point. And maybe barako with the old mask design but as a warrior kinda like odolva from majoras mask. And as for the biome they would fit perfectly in a new jungle temple. Having Naga as pets and mounts

I'm personally all in favor of this change. I think the new designs look way cooler, not to mention it was always a little off-putting to be able to summon tribal "minions" after invading their territory and slaying their leader... At least now they're not human so the implications are less disturbing.

I'm trying to detach myself from the terrible crap that made the states, not simulate it, even if it's in a fantasy setting. Makes my skin crawl. It's more like we're afraid of being insensitive ourselves by fighting them, since our country doesn't exactly have a good track record.
