There are blocks that reduce the core capacity costs of guns and wheels. For wheels you wanna use axles and frames and for guns weapon mounts! And those also include mining lasers! More tractor beams improve the beam strength. Oh and silicon you get out of just normal stones. like those big grey boulders that are everywhere.

Yep, took me awhile but I figured out the same. Gotta use parts like the frame use axle for wheels and weapon mounts for weapons it reduces the reactor load quite a bit. Also as for resource lasers the battery gives you an additional bar which lets you fire the resource lasers for longer so 2 extra batteries would give you two extra power bars under the cab details extending the time you shoot the laser for much longer. The lightning rod I think you have to deploy before the lighting hits but I remember it can overwhelm your cab reactor if you take more than one lightning blast in a short period of time? I haven't had time to mess with it lately

Quick tip: you can carry a big foundation, crusher and a windturbine to quickly set up a crusher near the resources you mine to reduce trip times. you can move/pack the minibase between sites.

Look at the Axles they reduce the amount of reactor load of attached wheels. They can also have boosts to speed. Same for the frames and weapon mounts.

I don't know how you get informed about the interesting indie games you try, so all I can do is post here I guess, but I'd really love to see you try out the recently released "The Brew Barons" since it looks like a weird mix of Crimson Skies and a management sim. It's got both a pretty art style but also AI voices, so I'd be interested in seeing your thoughts on how the whole package comes together.

I doubt there’s actually a person in the cockpit. It’s probably like how with the Protectron (from Fallout) there’s a glass viewscreen over the sensors. If you’re even human, you’re probably remote-controlling the vehicle.

I find the idea of giving you a car from the get go, and making it a central part of your upgrades to be a very interesting idea. Generally these type of games, cars are unlocked kinda mid to late game.

dear mr wanderbots please read the descriptions of the frames/axles and weapon mounts. use the axles or frames to reduce wheel reactor cost, and weapon mounts to reduce reactor load.

The screen you thought was an energy shield is actually an enemy scanner if you see movement in the sign waves then there are enemies in that direction otherwise the coast is clear.

They seem to have fixed a lot of the issues that people had with the demo like the ui the power display in the base but the most important thing the reactor load seems to be unchanged.

There is storage for all your car parts in the base with unlimited storage so you don't need to fill up your silos with parts

ok i have seen enough wanderbots g play dark souls 3 and get to the second or third areas and learn how to kite or draw enemies to areas where i dont know theres a lighting tree that zaps anything in a 20 foot radius
