I just love it Max, you say it as you see it and you have such a great Yorkshire accent, but please do an Aswan Trip you and everyone will love it, i miss egypt so much its been 8 years since my last trip but looking at going to Hurgharda in March 2025, only downside it will be the first time i've done a trip on my own, but i'm that confident in the people and i always feel safe, one story comes to mind on my 3 or 4th cruise they decided to go luxor to aswan then back to luxor then up to Dandarah, woke up one morning on boat to Dandarah and at front and back of cruise boat were tents ? i thought whats going on here ,turned out because Dandarah is normally off the boat trip schedules and theres a lot of nomadic tribes, anyhow when i looked inside the tent at the front and back i was taken back as there were Machine guns bolted to the front and back of the boat lol, they were very rusty lol so i'm guessing not been used for a long time, anyways we had no trouble and enjoyed the trip to Dandarah, also please make people aware of the police in the white uniforms (tourist police) they are everywhere and if you ever feel unsafe go to one of them as they are only there to make the tourists feel safe, and they will always side with you over a local . Such a great country just a shame they have had troubles over the last few years but its getting back to normal now 😃

Just a little fact, they have said that the reason for the location of the valley of the Kings is if when you are there and look at the top of the mountain/hill it look like a Pyramid which goes back to the olden days of pyramid building in Cairo.
