Hey Chris! Great analysis!! I was wondering if you had any videos in your library, or if not would consider making, a video for young folks who are just starting out their journey. I’m a fresh uni grad and I’m about to start work next year - so I’d be grateful for a simple guide to setting up finances. What bank account to get to maximise my savings, what credit card to get for miles/perks. Furthermore, if you could impart some financial advice/guru on % salary one should pay on rent, to save, to invest etc - that would be fantastic! Your videos are great for the clarity and details that you bring, but I would be grateful for a more general video on the broad basics, and some rules that newbies could use! Cheers! And as always, great content 👍

Why isn't Trust Bank in your list? Those that need fresh funds are not very sustainable. If you are an NTUC Union member, 2.75% is quite easily achievable.

@HoneyMoneySG Well, if you just maintain 100k balance and not do anything else, it is already 1.75%. You get the extra 1% if you spend above $30 each for 5 transactions if you are an NTUC Union member. Those which need fresh funds, after you dump the money in, you are basically stuck with a low interest rate. Personally, I think Trust would be a much better choice.

For the hsbc I think if you sign up the interest is for months September and October but the October month, is it still based on the August average daily balance amount?

Hit $195k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with $14k in June 2022
