Those days are gone. Its €1.50 for a large Tropical in Spoons now. Thoughly recommended the fish and chips in there too. So many great places to eat in Puerto del Carmen.

Always brings a smile to my face. These spanish restaurants doing British fish and chips. I am English but from Portuguese family. I visit Northern Portugal where the Portuguese side of my family is located often. Most of the local restaurants and snacks bars have their own version of fish and chips. The cod is fried in batter, chips always made with fresh chopped potatoes and deep fried. The only difference is that they don't have vinegar on their chips, but me being British and used to, I must. The Portuguese just have salt on their chips. But I have to admit Portuguese home cooked chips are gorgeous too 😍🤤🤤😋😋

The Natasha & Debbie Show on You Tube, viewed 23/10/22 . it was about Whitby, showing the Town, the tourist film that they were watching was about two years old? but also covered Fish and Chips. I gave them a heads up about seeking out and looking for the best chippy. I also recommend them to watch your site, to avoid disappointment, if they ever come over the Pond. The fish and chips in this view was very good. We don’t normally do bucket and spade holidays, etc so maybe we wont have the opportunity of the 1 euro pint. Last week in the real Spoons, Fish, no chips [frozen], it’s my only exception to eating in a pub etc.

Great vlog. I miss Lanzarote so much. The cafe bar behind where you were sitting is lovely for breakfast. El kiosko is great for people watching. La Rustica pizza does metre long pizzas really nice restaurant upstairs which was in your vlog. Hawaiian bar recently reopened over the way from Spoons we always went there. The Bollywood Indian is lovely and the one you showed Indian Aroma we went twice in our 6 night holiday in February. Can’t wait for more vlogs here 😀

Great holiday vlog Lee. Loved it when you left the camera running recording the sounds of the sea and crashing waves, (there’s an idea for future videos). That Spoons place is crafty how did he get away with the name? Great for a cheap pint though. The fish & chips looked ok although if that was small however big is medium or large? Have you noticed how Spar shops are so much bigger, better and far superior to the little Spar shops in the UK. They sell far more stuff in there too. Love the look of Lanzarote will consider going here next year. Nice vlog Lee 😉👌

Excellent vlogg Lee , Just returned home (sunny Mansfield) from Tenerife. Loads places selling 1 euro pints. What they don't tell is that they add tax. so that 1 euro pint is actually 1 euro 14 cents. Still a fantastic bargain.

We were there a couple of weeks ago,the one Euro pint is hard to find.The one thing we did find is that spirits have no measure,my wife ordered a gin and tonic in a number of places and the barman just tipped the bottle until there must have been 5 or 6 measures in one drink,cost was 6-7 euros.I remember one drink lasting nearly 2 hrs haha.

While your there try a bar called tiny bar it’s the smallest bar in lanzarote the view from there is fantastic, just watching your spoons vlog now the sites are bringing back great memories from our time there in 2018 enjoy the rest of your time there

There are other places on Lanzarote beside Playa del Carmen. Go down to Playa Blanca, book on the boat trip to Los Lobos and score the Barbeque on the island. You also get to visit Furteventura . Nice round trip. It’s not Wetherespoons !

I really need to get back there. The video start was behind the hotel I've stayed at twice, the los jameos playa in matagorda. A nice walk east from there to the end of the airport runway. Ha, now I've looked again I can see you started a couple of miles from where I said. The problem with those white 2 storey buildings, they all look the same. Pocillos/Matagorda is a good 40 minutes walk away.

Wish Spoons would do something about their ‘Housebeers’….The Ruddles is tasteless and isn’t worth a Quid. In Devon & Cornwall, Doombar should be replaced by Tribute, which is from the same Brewery and far better.

Great video.Came back from lanzarote 2 weeks ago and the best places we found for breakfast was Mcsorleys in Puerto Calero and Lani,s in Playa Blanca at the Marina Rubicon.Give them a try if you get chance
