I set an alarm for 10am on Wednesday for the Hoover Boys, I don’t set alarms anymore, nothing is that important. Kurt, you two have entertained me for the last couple years, I can’t get out to swing because I was paralyzed 4 years ago, I had just gotten serious about detecting when I bought my Deus2, I held on to it because my paralysis is reversing and I mean who gets that chance, I’ve gone through some really tough days but watching you dorks is something that has helped pass many hours of boredom. I keep going back and watching the first years videos, Brad cutting the gold coin on the beach that night is always worth a watch, the water hunts that produced the Marevedes Cobbs, the arrow heads- man some weeks are slow but you gotta admit, Kurt, Mark, B-Rad, Smiley, Bob and that 44guy (get some cold cuts 😂) are super great people who put others first- why because all holes matter- I walk around the house saying “Eat yer lunch” and “all holes mater” just for fun. Who would have thought that buying that detector would turn into something like this? You guys rock. I want to points out a couple things that I recently realized. In 1717, piracy 🏴☠️ was at its peak in the Bahamas in 1789 France was fighting a revolution with a really short individual at the top, I think it was Napoleon Dynamite, I’ve actually started learning stuff and things because of this group.

When I was a teenager I knew a man that found a big copper penny. He scratched the heck out of it with his pocket knife to reveal the date, it was 1848. I saw it I thought how the heck did that coin get to the place he found it? Fast forward 30 years (1995ish) I started metal detecting with a passion. Eventually I recalled the day I saw that 1848 penny and where it was found. Out in the country (Three Dog Night) far away from any small town or hole in the wall. Out on a farm I grew up on mostly in the summer months. It was on a path made by the milking cows coming back to the barn. Then I watch you guys digging up coppers left and right all the time. I never did find one in all the short years I detected. I guess it's the area I live in. Now, way past my prime, I still want to go out! My Minelab needs a swing!
