Sometimes not getting the comics is the right choice! Just a heads up on mold…as long as you wash your hands if you accidentally touch it it’s not that big of deal. I used to be in the abatement industry and can let you know while it’s gross to look at ( and smell) black mold is fine to be around if you don’t disturb it and make it completely airborne. Even then just leave the area it’s in and get to a well ventilated one and things will be fine 99% of the time. Now if you come across WHITE mold, drop what you are doing and get everyone out. It’s much more dangerous. Great video and keep digging!

The one that caught my eye was a Brave & Bold 35 (2nd Hawkman), but I couldn't see what condition it was in as you flipped by it fairly quickly. Those Blue Beetle and Captain Atom books, even though Modern reprints from the 70s are in demand as well. I didn't catch if the Blue Beetle was a 1 or 3, if it was 1, it's a reprint of the 1st appearance of the Question. But the condition and the mold puts a pallor on all of it. There was also a FF 185 (1st Salem Seven) which is getting some interest because of the Agatha All Along series (it's one I had as a kid that I am trying to replace, but it's price has gone up steadily the last 6 months or so, so I haven't pulled the trigger on one).

@@charlesmardanes7028 yeah I’m right there with you, thought I might’ve paid more to be nice. That first bin wasn’t for sale otherwise it would’ve been a slightly different story. Interesting video. Here’s my take: These were not comics he bought as a kid. The collection was way too diverse with different titles. These were books he picked up along the way for the most part. There were a few interesting books in there, I’ve begun accumulating those Hot Rod Books, but they’re only about 5-10 dollars for titles in very good condition. I would have offered him 5-10 dollars for the dozen or so comics that were somewhat interesting and .50 cents each for the rest. Maybe $110-125 for the lot at most.
