I’m glad you made the trip to NYC and checked out the reseller shops. The prices are very typical for those stores. District One i find is the best store out of all the store in NYC, don’t sleep on their preowned shoes.

The Gel NYC in my opinion is the best Asics model for the price. They're super comfy the collabs are great, GRs are super clean and almost every colorway sells out on their site. Foot locker actually has their own exclusive colors sometimes of the Asics "Gel NYC" like the "Indigo" colorway they have right now actually.

Flushing Nike (Queens) Bay Plaza Nike (Bronx) Harlem and Staten Island also have Nike stores but I haven’t been to those. Any Nike store you go to, you’re competing with resellers, especially the one in Queens. It’s a reseller nest.
