Still a beautiful home! look at the nice clean beautiful kitchen at 18:09, ! the house is still of value! it just needs some renovations to repair a few damages, cleaned up, then live in the house!

So weird, one house has old letters from the 50s and 60s and right next door is hand prints from 2022. What a strange little clump of houses.

Those similar deadbolt locks are similar for a reason, installed by the developer. I'm sure they're keyed the same as well. The developer would only need one key to access all the houses. Thanks for the tour Noah! 👍🤠 Notes: 7:51 Hey, why not if one has the space! 17:17 Copper thief flood damage. 35:59 Squatter stash? The guy seen walking about? 1:01:16 70's stove I'd say.

Hi, Noah, from Aliso Viejo, Calif. USA. 👋🇺🇲 You did a super job of exploring these abandoned houses! 😀👍 It's surprising what people left behind when they moved: personal stuff going back to the 50s & 60s. In one house, you could see the children's paint handprints and written comments dating from 2022, at the most recent. I might watch more of your videos in the near future. Well done!! 😸

Those bags you came across most likely were filled with vermiculite-asbestos insulation that came from the attic. Basing that on the age of the house and the fact that double bagging was used.

You could conceivably have more housing just not single family homes. Which is the goal. Rent, you will own nothing and be happy…

wow what a show of houses, crazy how some had been updated an other like stepping back in time, this area must be an end block for that many houses in one area to be demoed for a new condo/apartments who knows what to be built there in time. like the drown footage really shows the amount of space that this new development will take over.

Land assembly is very common in Vancouver. There are blocks of empty houses. These houses are sitting in large pieces of land. The taxes probably kept going up and became unaffordable. Also be careful. One home had bags of asbestos.

Same old story. Mow down affordable, well-built homes because they’re old, and build cheaply made cookie cutter condos no one can afford unless they’re a millionaire. Makes you sick.

Interesting you said the laundry room and kitchen are mixed. My house was designed the same way, early 70s. My grandma used to chuckle and said a man made that design, not a housewife. Next two generations later, I saw a home with the washer and dryer next to the bathroom, in between the bedrooms. The mother had designed that so she’s closer to the source of peeled dirty clothes

It’s so sad that some of us will never be able to live in homes like these but the powers in charge just knock them down to put in rack and stack housing. The farms in the USA grow housing developments so we’re going thru the same things.

All the money in the world 🌍 would absolutely NEVER get me out of my Home, I'm not going to be bought and I'm not for sale! These developers can find a vacant lot to buy and build on, I'm finding it extremely astounding that so many people are stupid and let billionaires buy them. You try buying me, I'll take You to court and fight You. People have a Choice,
