Magmasaurs have a weird AI. When you’re behind them, most of the time they’ll sit there and do nothing but the moment you move in front of them, they start fighting back.

27:20 Did you know that stegos can actually hit other stegos with that thagomizer bleed attack? One time, when I was fighting a pack of stegos, two of them swung and hit each other simultaneously (one might have been Tek, I don't remember). They were both locked in place, bleeding each other down for 20 seconds or so until one of them died.

The other nice thing about starve taming is that, if the creature takes damage and loses taming effectiveness, you don't lose all the kibble/meat you fed it to that point. You can let it wake up, knock it back out, and then probably feed it all at once since it's been healing from the damage it took before.

I threw my Sino down a waterfall cave to kill those arthros, spiders, and chitinous creatures. Forgot the location, but you entered the cave too, at one point. Long story short. She was at about 10hp after she finished killing them.

i think that damage was because you killed an arthro and probably hit its head and not to the rock elemental, hence the 6k damage

The sino drop isnt a bug. It has a "run" that acts like a wingsuit, which drops when you lose momentum, and a "walk" that glides horizontally at a slower pace. Its tied to whether your character is walking or running.

Syntac for the ‘crit’ you hit on the rock elemental, I think it was an arthro cus the moment the damage numbers popped up here was an arthro kill message, also there was an arthro corpse on the floor where you hit the elemental

The plummeting thing is how glide suits work on Xbox if you’re sprinting. Sinos always do that if you’re tipped even slightly down. Don’t know if it’s even possible to counteract it. Welcome to my pain.

I’m with you on starving tames, I always starve them out first. Usually because I don’t want to risk the creature getting hit by a wild dino when it’s at 50% taming and has already eaten several potentially expensive pieces of food. If that happened I’d need to let it wake up and start over, losing kibble as well as time. When it’s starved you can ensure it’s still at 100% effectiveness and be there to supervise when you drop in the food.

I tamed a Megalosaurus once, never ended up using it though because I hated going out night, so I just had it stay curled up in front of my fireplace. Looked like a giant doggo on the hearth rug😌😂

Starve taming actually is useful for creatures in dangerous areas where wasting that kibble (especially high tier kibble) could happen due to getting hit

There is also another cave right next to your base!! In the lake next to you there some tall rocks in the middle of it. Dive in the water in the middle and there will be a cave system with some tunnels!

I tend to wait till they're starved to feed them because if they get hit then you have to knock them out again and wait for them to starve again if you've already been feeding them. Also, if you're using something like kibble and you've already fed them when they get hit or even die, then it's a big waste of resources.

Hey Syntac ! The SINO BUG, sudden dive is not a bug... When you hit shift... Make sure you're not looking upwards. Looking up makes the sino try to go up and immediately dive due to less speed Try: Dive and look slightly downwards and you'll never pommel downwards again 😇

Syntac the reason that you plummet down word is because if your camera angle is too far down I The Game thinks that you’re just pointing straight down for some reason so just keep your camera angle higher up I do agree with your wild card should fix that but this will help Happy surviving

The reason why the magmasaurs just stand there some times isn’t technically a bug, but instead it’s there AI where they do a kind of intimidation stance before they release there “purple smoke” that aggros creatures, THEN they attack. It’s just poorly implemented.

I played with the sino today the nosedive isnt a bug its an action that i belive tab or caps does with gliding so if u hold that button when hitting c for glide it nosedives

I was taming up a maewing and it was unconscious, but it started to move. Luckily they don't have an oxygen start cause it would've drown. It decided to move towards the water and got hung on a rock underwater. It was like a 180 too so it was a nice tame

If im not mistaken the "bug" happens if you are holding sprint and or have the sprint lock on. It happens because the sino has to have a specific speed to Fast fly and if you are not moving fast enough then you fall due to the game thinking you are holding sprint and want to go fast. I have had this happen multiple times and every time i had the sprint lock on.

Here's an idea, one that I think would be neat... Why not make near double profit by streaming this while recording so viewers can see the stuff between episodes... The grind and anything else interesting. Many of us don't have ark, most of us do, but I think those who watch these videos every day would enjoy seeing this live

This is such a cool cave, but the loading lag is horrible! Was trying to glide through with a maewing to grab artifact and as I was leaving my freaking maewing died. I think a magmasaur is a must have for this cave

I've noticed that the stego spawns on lost island are super common, like overspawn common. I've seen like 4 max level stegos all within render of each other.

Yes, from my experience, the loot on Lost Island is terrible. In one hour on ragnarok, I got a better pump shotgun than two weeks on Lost Island. I did some loot crates also deep sea loot crates, but got nothing that I would call end game (or even middle game) loot.

I think the only time I ever used a Megalosaurus was on official when Aberration came out. Megalos were always a great tame on Ab since they're always awake on there. Smough was my main combat mount pretty much until I got my Reaper.

You feed it "once" is a PVP thing, people could come around and ruin your tame by lovetapping it. If it is starved and not touched it'll tame in one go.
