16:06 Some species of fossil mega-scallops found in Florida are apparently extremo rare. As a kid I found six in a pile and our guide flipped the eff out. Needless to say, they were sent off for research. lol They're in a museum somewhere, last I heard.

The small purple pebbles you are finding are most likely rounded Fluorite crystals. The will glow purple under UV lights. CIAO!

Same as flourspar ¿? Colouring from oil ingress at crystal formation I believe. Blue John (Castleton, Derbyshire, 🇬🇧), is a prime though not exclusive example of this.

After picking through a couple of your gravel packs, my daughter now has fossil vision. We went to the beach the other day and she found a fossil clam, then traced the gravel back to an exposed rock face full of fossil shells. She's having so much fun with this.

16:20 cris pay close attention to everything around you esp to tracks on the ground it may be Florida but don’t write off any small detail as being unsubstantial as Florida is a vast tropical FLORAscape wonderland that is a very interestingly shaped kid footprint. If there are Bigfoot is it possible there are Littlefoot Pygmy type hominids…? If it struck you to at least take notice and consciously get your attention then your subconscious must’ve been screaming at you. Now think to yourself what would a child’s footprint be doing miles down a dirt road that was possibly an ancient trail at one time.possibilities are endless.think and ask yourself why,where,what . Then think travel by moonlight. think nocturnal. Think safety. Think of why one might travel on road if not want to be seen. Think of headlights at night .easy to dash out of sight if traveling on shoulder of roadway rather than daytime. Think safe passage.
@ryanlemon82673 жыл бұрын
Look into the Littlepeople native stories of America. And especially the Seminole And the Little people that live under there chickadee huts, that’s spoken about in their culture. Also look up mooneyed little people of the Cherokee. Many others…especially you being a paleontologist “one who studies bones” you would think you would take notice of the odd shaped footprint a very wide one at that. Pygmy people of papua new guinia now can you say Guinea pig or pyg. No coincidence only god incidents. Search and you shall find ask and you shall receive give me the eyes to to see and ears to hear and the wisdom to understand for I was once blind but now I see.

Nice opening - it is good to see a young man that knows how to be gentle to creatures smaller than himself and help instead of hurt them - nice work !! It is important for men to know when to be tough , possibly have to fight and perhaps even be dangerous...but it is equally important for men to realize that knowing when to be gentle is also a sign of strength !!

Awwww I'm glad I'm not the only turtle saver! I once found a snapper on the highway. I found a safe spot for her with the help of another passer by. We put her on a blanket over a fenced area away from the highway. It appeared as if she was getting ready to lay eggs, as she vigorously began digging with her back feet into the diet as soon as we sat her down.

I have a suggestion; try some of the old phosphate mines and or reclamation areas. some places like highway 60 old IMC reclamation sites, highways 17 offroad near the swamps Highway 27 central Fl and way south, some areas also near Bartow and Bartow airbase, watch for rattlesnakes in the palmettos and in gopher holes. I found a tooth that was 10 inches long back in the 60s cave diving in Zephyr hills .
