An additional moral to this story is to keep your word because Roys keeps saying he’ll do something, but never does. Also, unlike some of the other brats, Roys is actually confronted about his mistakes in a manner that isn’t passive aggressive.

Roys Bedoys really is an underrated MVMP in the brat community. I remember a few years ago I thought he was a huge brat, and too be fair he does have his not so hot moments. But with fresh new eyes on him, I've realized the best thing about Roys Bedoys is the simple fact that unlike ALL these other shows, Little Princess, Little Brown Bear, ChuChu & Friends, Thomas Daily, Roys by the end of the episode actually LEARNS, writes APOLOGIES, and PROMISES to do better. Apologies aren't just "I'm sorry daddy! I promise I won't do it again :(" because that is an empty promise. A real apology is one where it's blatant someone has learned and will try their best to do better in future or make it up to someone. And Roys manages to do that a majority of the time. Not to mention, the parents in this show are not spineless freaks who bow down to Roys' needs, and actually punish or scold him appropriately. Roys learns to become a better friend, a better student, a better son in every episode, and I actually admire the fact the writer of the show (Christine Ha) is doing that. Roys is clearly a flawed toddler who does constantly act out of line, but unlike all the others, he can redeem himself. He's shown to just be...a normal toddler. Someone who doesn't throw tantrums 24/7 (Caillou), someone who doesn't call his mom horrible (LBB), someone who doesn't mistreat and blame his dog (Little Princess), and certainly someone who doesn't emotionally blackmail everyone around him (Cussly). I mean, he has done some terrible things, but he's 5. And the fact he's mature enough to learn is showing more maturity then most people on the interne- I mean, most 5 year olds in general. Not a perfect show, but Roys Bedoys definitely is better than most of the other stuff. Also, call it a hunch, but I think this video has 22 million views. I don't know what's telling me this, it just feels like it...

I’m a Roys Bedoys veteran speaking. I notified the channel owners when they mistakenly uploaded the wrong video one time, and have even suggested the idea for the episode “Don’t Believe Everything You See Online, Roys Bedoys!” Look in the description. Firstly, the very first few episodes in the series were adapted from a few books that I think they themselves wrote. I think the animation style is silly too. The shows tagline on the Woohoo Storytime website is that he makes mistakes, but always learns. And we can see that in the newest episode , where Roys is in school and unintentionally being rude, but he has very much CLEARLY ascended from Brat status. It may not seem like it from the episode you reviewed, but the little brother in the blue pajamas “Loys” becomes more psychotic in more recent episodes.
