Oh, I definitely definitely definitely want to see a part two at that location and why limit yourself to one fish trap as many fish as there are in there, I say, sit at least three all around the lake and leave them for no less than three hours three traps for three hours and do a little fishing, while the traps are marinating as you would say, and see what you can catch on rod and reel

I'm with you. I would take 4 and actually bury them under the grass and let em soak

@Jim_____2 жыл бұрын
Heat your filtration with aquarium heaters. Obviously there isnt really a spot in your ponds to put one but there are plenty of places inside your filtration to put them that wont be an eyesore and it will do the same as in the actual pond. Yes, you might experience algae bloom but it shouldn't be anything harmful and the plecos will like it anyway

They would dump them in the trash... So it's better that they do it in the pond, so they can live
@illdecidelater6302 жыл бұрын
@@monikaxxxx1136well there invasive fish and by what I can tell in the video there not surviving in the pond really anyways also u don't really know that there's a chance they just go through the effort of killing them humanly I really don't need ur correction I'm just trying to be supportive and positive and it's definitely not "better".

there use to be the Ross Sokoloff fish farms in Florida. When they closed down in the late 70's they dumped all their fish in Florida streams. I had tropical fish from about 65' to the 1980's. I worked with someone from south America that used Zebra danios as fishing bate.

There are stock tank heaters that you could put in. I have one floating one in my poly water tank and a caged one in my galvanized tank. Yes, these are for my horses but I think they could work. I got mine at a feed and farm store but considering where you live I doubt they are that common. There’s lots of online sources though. I couldn’t believe it when you said your well water was😂😂warm. Except in areas where there are hot springs well water is generally colder. My well water is about 40F even in the hottest summer. I had comets in a pond that froze the top inch for several years. It didn’t seem to bother them and they were about 4” long and breeding.

set up a feeder fish pond for all the fish you normally throw back, Can keep them all for the predators. Then you could also make a video where you stock the pond with fish from somewhere you catch lots of "feeder fish". Then anytime can scoop up some for the predator pond to feed them

Fun note: a wood powered stove made of aluminum with a wall an inch thick and both the smoke pipe and the wood feed pipe on top in water up to 3/4th of its height can heat that water to 80F. Modulating the amount of wood and carefully controlling it while carefully monitoring the water temperature can bring the water up to breeding temperature.

You can run an extension cord out to the pond an hook it up to a cattle water trough heater we used them in Tennessee when it got super cold an the water would freeze over with ice but we would plus the water trough heaters an itd keep it around 60 to 70 degrees...just gotta be careful bc if u have a plastic liner it could possibly melt through it we would just place it on top of a brick......if I'm right tractor supply website should have them on there an if not rural king and Amazon definitely has them itd save you a heartache if you're fish died bc you didn't wanna invest into a 50$ to 70$ water heater....besides that keep the videos coming I love seeing what south Florida has to offer bc I live an hour north of Tampa an we don't have any invasive fish really besides a tilapia an snake head here an there
