When you thought the sewer grate was going to fall down in. I just wanted to say, manhole/sewer covers are SPECIFICALLY made to be circular because it is the only shape that no matter the angle, it cannot pass through itself. So it is not actually possible for the lid to fall down the hole

With all the sewers you guys open it may be good for you to know that typically man hole covers and sewer covers are round that way the lid cant fall into the hole like a square shaped lid. So you shouldn't have to worry about round lids falling in.

Just a suggestion... You may want to keep your feeder fish in a quarantine tank for at least a few weeks, maybe even start a feeder breeding tank, so you don't introduce parasites and disease to your crazy expensive turtle. It's one thing with fish you find, but that turtle is a big investment.
@jamesmcdonald5169 Жыл бұрын
Quarantine feeder fish should be practiced, I would set up 100 gallon tub and breed mollies, mosquitoes fish, that sort of thing. It doesn't take long for them to mature.

Bristllenose Plecos are my favorite! If you breed a dark and an albino, you will get both dark and albino babies. I've bred mixed pairs like that and got both kinds. Love them! Aww man, now all those baby Albino Plecos are gonna be dinner in that predatory pond! Anything all those big fish can fit in their mouths, they can and will eat! I gave a friend several of my babies, and she put them in with her bigger chiclids. Oh ya, they ate them all! I wasn't very happy, I can tell you! I wish you had size specific ponds. Now that would be awesome! Other then that, I do love your videos!

I can't believe you found Plecostomus in a sewer? That's cool I had a tire track Plec and an albino Plec. Kept my tank super clean. Also had the albino Oscar and it almost grew to the size of a dinner plate. Cichlids are really tough fish especially Oscars.
@derrickhageman1969 Жыл бұрын
Most Cichlids in general are pretty durable fish but of course there's some that are not so durable
@macdapimp83 Жыл бұрын
@@derrickhageman1969 that's my point bro I've had various types of Cichlids, blue striped and they're super tough. However my tank crashed and I woke up to all my fish dead other than the Plecostomus, Oscars, pangasius and angel fish. Even my parrot fish and powder blue discus died. The others survived for around 4-5 months and also died. The only survivors were the Plecostomus and Oscars which just carried on. That was what I meant bro. Of all the Cichlids I found the Oscar were tough resilient. Had 1 black Oscar got itself stuck in an ornamental skull and managed to carve like a 2 centremetre wound into its head. I broke it free and it healed and lived another 3 years although the oldest and biggest I had was the albino Oscar
