I decided to hunt for my own shiny Mimikyu not that long ago because the grayscale felt really cute and unique. I remembered you had a bit of trouble with yours, but I didn't have any fool me because I would just check each one to see if its cheeks were red which was fairly obvious in the shade.

Thanks for the inspiration to do my own "area lock". I followed the same rules, no shiny sandwiches and no outbreaks. But I went one step further, i locked myself in the areas where names changed. Inlet Grotto, all the different seas, etc. It was alot of fun. Think I am going to do it again. Thanks for the inspiration and a very creative idea to really explore the region.

I am loving these videos. Currently working on getting the shiny charm in scarlet game and already had a few shinies run into me. I got attacked by an angry yellow balloon and a shiny goat. Also my guess for the 10 second shiny challenge clip would be maschiff or mabosstiff giving how dark the area was.

Noki, if you auto battle a shiny pokemon the pokemon will refuse to attack it. I also hunted for shiny mimikyu and battling every one with the lets go feature really narrowed down which was shiny and made it a whole lot quicker. Love ur vids.
