Brian: I’m on my second order of Nitidio Excellent product and what I’ve found from trial and error is to wipe the product off thoroughly, then wipe again, and wipe again The low eastern sun in the morning and low western sun in the afternoon is the true test. Thanks again

It’s really good. I bought some when Labocosmetica was first getting waves of popularity & I really like it. Thx for the excellent demonstration.
@laurapalmerTDGEКүн бұрын
You should know that Labo is actually from Mafra, an Italian company that has been making these types of products for years. Think of it as the Megs of Europe. A bit like Bilthamber is of the UK. On topic: I have recently started trying Turtle Wax Clearvue Glass Clean, with excellent results and also in cold weather. Cheap and exceptionally good. The glass cleaner from Bilthamber evaporates exceptionally quickly and cleans well, but the Turtle Wax Clearvue Glass Clean is on par. It is a matter of searching and trying until something good comes out. And with the right and good cloths you can also get a long way.

As a senior citizen who has had a stroke. I still enjoy detailing my cars. I'm not as mobile as I once was, and it takes me longer to accomplish my mission. The inside front windshield / rear window has always been issues for me. Anything that I can use to make the job easier is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes I use Gyeon prep for my windows, I spray some on my first microfiber (so not to have overspray on the interior bits) and then my final with a second microfiber, I hate doing glass Brian….. I know Larry from Ammo uses like a scrub pad and then a squeegee🤔

Watch all your videos and have learned a lot about caring for my cars. I have a glass cleaning question. Back in the summer, my 1972 LT1 was on the lift above my 2003 50th Anniv converible. I did not have the drip pan placed correctly. I came out to find oil drips going down the windshield. I wiped it off with a paper towel, and used Adam's glass cleaner on it. It looked good until I drove it facing into the sun. There is a purple-blue haze where I tried to clean it. I then tried 50-50 water and alcohol. No effect. Then I used 99% alcohol. Again no effect. I've run out of ideas other than buying some glass polish and a glass polish pad, but have heard you warn about overheating the glass. Any ideas you have would be much appreciated. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

Don’t forget to roll the window down a bit and catch the glass edge. 😁👍🏻

The best thing I've found to cut smokers film is the same thing I use to kill ants in the house, just watered down. Distilled water, isopropyl alcohol, vinegar, and a little dish soap. Mixed up strong it kills ants dead and won't harm your pets. Mixed up dilute and it cleans glass really well, removed smoker film and road haze as good as or better than anything I've bought from the store and costs very little to make. Obviously only use on untinted glass. The way that cleaner clings is pretty unique however and I definitely see the utility of that!

@@apexdetail85 Absolutely, but they lack the 'punch' of the solvent and vinegar for cutting through oily residues like vapers leave behind in their cars.

A tip I picked up, clean the outside of windschield in a verical direction, and interior in a horizontal direction. This way if you still see something you missed, you'll know if its on the outside or inside.

Brain I am With you, I hate windows! Back issues and neck.. just not my friend. If I get bad ones I just spray on some paint prep. I know it’s not cheap to do it. Only on the worst ones but it just gets it over with. I may try this though. I always thought they used some kind of paint marker on the windows.

@ I have citral. Never tried it on that. I had a mini a month ago the water spots were so bad on the outside. I sprayed a stronger acid water spot remover on. Let sit for 20 -30 seconds, then flooded with rinseless. Came right off. Nothing else aside from polishing was going to them off. thought I was going to have to polish them off.
Great video and thanks for the link for the surgery towels. They are simply the best for cleaning windows!

Brian, In my opinion you do not have to go outside the US to buy a good glass cleaner. In your state, you have an excellent glass cleaner manufacturer. I like to support American Companies when possible. Other glass cleaners you may use are a Rinseless wash or IPA with distilled water or white vinegar with distilled water. I do like the surgical towels...
