This incredible Opel Manta 400R rally car was unearthed in the south of the UK, and it was in a truly rough condition. We dug deep into its history and discovered it was crafted by some legendary Opel figures! We stripped it down and executed a complete restoration. Don’t miss this Opel Manta 400 garage find! It was in a bad way Andrew, that's the one you done last year isn't it,I seen your i240 on car SOS the other night, the white gte was in a bad way ,did u help them with it on the show,they never done a manta before, I think Fuzz worked on an opel engine before by the way he took it apart

That's no 400 , it's got a rover 3.5 , a b.s gearbox tunnel and pop riveted arches and it's on a Q plate, why bullshit about it?!.

Not a 400 true, I think they were all 2 slot. Still, it's another Manta coupe back on the road, although I'd tempted to put a modern 4 pot engine in.

Do you not see the "R" in the thumnail And description ? Anyone in the manta world knows that stands for " replica" 400s had riveted arches so they could be changed between stages if damaged there was also some 400s on a Q plate. Although this is not one of them.

The Q plate indicates it's a kit car. 👍

No it doesn't Look back though the old Group B rally cars form the 80s. A lot of them was Q plated as they simply had to be road legal to drive on the public roads between stages, its nothing unusual.
