The Barrel Tap 12:28, that LOOKS like a miniature train whistle... that may be why it looks familiar. That was an AMAZING arrowhead! Thanks for taking us along with you.

@ 7:31 ---- Probably a Meteorite. I have found a few. They are usually ALOT heavier than what the size usually is.

Carolina Diggers a meteorite was my first thought also. I’m no expert, but a friend of mine has a ‘rock’ very similar to that. Very heavy for its size. She was sitting on her porch wi5h her family one night in Colorado and they saw a meteorite come down in their newly plowed field. The next day her father went out and found it.

Yes meteor REMEMBER Nickel is metallic BUT not magnetic, and some metals (including some gases at extreme cold and pressure) become magnetic with and electric field or current

The arrowhead is a wonderful find. You couldn’t find better history than that. Relic wise I really love the toe tap. That chunk to me looks like copper ore. Maybe the original home owner use to make tools or coins. Great video and I can’t wait to see what you post next.

What an awesome corner notch point, Michael, really beautiful! Very nice other finds, as well. If you have allergy problems, you may try some local pure, organic honey. That "property marker" you showed is called a "Benchmark Monument" put there to serve as a basis for horizontal control data for the government. I've run across many of them over the years.

Finding a really nice arrowhead point never ceases to bring out the wonder, as I always think of the last human hands that touched it - probably many hundreds or thousands of years ago. And, especially when I find one revealing such incredible, very delicate craftsmanship, I consider how it got dropped. A mere accident? While in flight during a skirmish with hostiles? What? Because it took very specialized hands to produce those - and so I'd imagine one probably didn't carry a large inventory with them - so losing one was probably a bit of a disaster. And anyone who has ever tried to make even a stone axe realizes that you hit stone one time, in the wrong spot, and a piece you've worked quite a while on will very easily crack into an unusable rock. And this is especially true of arrowheads - as they are thinner and much more delicate. Sometimes you'll find one that almost looks like it was just made, or very sharp / still deadly. But creeks are one of the best spots to look for points, as for centuries native people's cleaned game, etc. there.

Hey nugget, my son and I found a nearly perfect Indian arrowhead in a creek in eastern Oregon while we were prospecting. We both saw it at the same time. ai stuck out like a neon sign in the black rocks. The tip was almost clear but the rest was bright white. It made out day.

That rock might be a meteor stone if it's a hunk of iron then yes if so they can fetch big bucks and dont know if your aware but arrow heads are fetching big bucks on Ebay and that's a really nice one great job

That arrowhead could be black or green obsidian. Can't tell if its dark green or black. But most Native Anericans used Obsidian for arrowheads, because it chipped sharp as you know where??

Nugget, I want to Thank You for posting the Bible versus on your vids, cause everyone needs it, whether they know it or not. Nice hunt and a Beautiful arrowhead you found, besides the other cool rocks and relics. It's called quality not quantity. : ) I tell anyone that has a tendency to get hay fever to eat your local honey during the winter and in the spring when things bloom, you won't be getting those annoying symptoms. (For most other allergies), go to health food store and get some capsuled "Stinging Nettle Root". The container will most likely say simply "Nettle or Nettle Root" on it. It's a real wonder herb, takes care of food, animal dander or other allergies as well. Please think about giving it a try. : )
