Rob, those Bullfrogs you caught, inflate themselves in order to make themselves look too large to eat, kind of like puffer fish do. Needless to say, if there was a herbicide dump, frogs, eels and catfish tend to soak that crap up through their skin. If that canal was where the herbicide was dumped, NONE of the fish would be safe to eat for 3 or 4 months minimum, if then. Now being as it's a herbicide, it shouldn't be fatal to fish, but you certainly wouldn't want to eat them. herbicides are designed to kill plants, not animals, but that doesn't mean they are good for you. By the way, just like those frogs and eels can absorb that crap through their skin, SO CAN YOU! Be careful dude!

Awesome work on the netting on the 300 tank and the microphone. The microphone not playing up makes a huge difference and it’s nice to be along for the adventure (hearing it as it happens), rather then a recap (you having to do a voiceover because of corrupted audio). Those frogs looked happy when they hit the fresh water in the IBC. Definitely want to to see an eel taste test at some point😜. ✌🏽❤️😊

Very sorry to hear about the herbicide, Rob! I hate herbicides because they kill so many other forms of life besides plants. It is a wonder that so many fish survive if herbicides go in the creeks where you are. I guess it explains why there are so many clear stretches of water.

G'day Rob. I believe the Pleco. is a Sailfin Pleco. (Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps). They get pretty big and do best in a planted tank. Happy fishing mate.
