tips for using the starling: 1. try practicing bombing with one bomb. when you get used to it tis much better. 2. always feather boost. 3. to replesish boost faster, go into stall and pull up. 4. to fight mk2s. you need to avoid the missiles. to do that. you need atleast half boost left. go in an upwards spiral until the missiles stop following you then do step 3 to get ur boost back. The strat here is to make the mk2 run out of missiles and try to bomb them when they land to refil. Alternativly you can dive bomb the mk2s if ur aim is good enough with the mgs. 5. Always use chaff when dive bombing or getting near a mk2

I do the same, but not with chaff.. I usually try baiting the mk2s out at sea, because when they run out of rockets, they cant bail out and hide, and I always kill them when they flee. I circle upwards if they gang up on me edit: Also, even ruiner missiles cant get you from behind, if you turn hard cicrle and boost tap whenever the rockets are closing in. Mk2s got nothing on the starling

When u hit the sticky bomb out of someone’s hand while they are in a car the car will instantly blow up, even if it is armored. Since you used the emp (which is technically explosive) u were able to hit the sticky bomb with the blast radius. 9:57

I'm not at all a pro with the starling but am a decent pilot. You should use the slow speeds of it to your advantage for bombing, also firing free-aimed missiles from above 90° onto ground target makes you pretty much invulnerable if you can hit them. Not sure if you will see this but I noticed you straight up panic when someones firing missiles at you, keep calm and dont over-use your boost, lf the missile comes close then boost away in circles while using rudder to gain altitude. Always remember people cant look up to you in a 90° angle, thats your best bet to stay out of missile lock-on and explosive sniper. Hope its gonna help.

8:13 Pro tip: if you hit the rear propeller of an helicopter that doesnt have it protected (the ones that have it protected usually have something sorrounding it) you can take the chopper down really fast but it depends on the weapon, I recomend using the heavy sniper or the minigun

I recommend using the heavy revolver mk2 with FMJ rounds because of its ability to blow off the tail rotor in 1 shot and the heavy sniper is 2 shots to blow off.

@@ghostofakina2512 Yeah they exist. It was part of the bikers update so it is somewhat forgotten. Your favorite bike is the bike you spent the most time on without riding any other bike. You can find yours by looking in your stats page (vehicle stats I think). The bonus gives you 30% damage reduction, 30% damage boost for drive by and mounted machine guns, and health regeneration. Thus you can survive a heavy sniper Mk. 2 and also one shot a player to the chest with hollow point heavy revolver. The hollow point smg on the bike kills in 6 body shots. That's on par with a combat mg MK2 and better than all of the assault rifles.

Starling tip: you don't need to hold the boost to avoid missiles you can just do short Burts for like 1.5 seconds. And also if you see a mk2 you can still avoid there misses but try to go up to avoid them entirely.

When you're flying, turn your Expanded Radar on. Also when going up against MKII, it's all about altitude fights. Lure the MKII up in altitude, stay above, dive with guns, chaff when you're at same altitude, climb with boost, guns, chaff. You can also stop climbing when below and toss rockets or guns and sink back down.

Starling tip: The slower the Starling moves, the faster it regenerates it's boost. Fly directly up and wait untill it stalls. Then try to hold it up. Also tap boost, don't hold. Holding won't make it go faster but only wast more boost and make you vulnerable in a dogfight..

EMP launcher is a great weapon to use against vehicle griefers. Doesn't matter if its an RC car/MOC/Any amorured car. Once you hit them once, there is enough time to spam RPGs to take it out

Here are some Starling top tips: For avoiding homing rockets (this means mkII rockets as well), fly in a horizontal circle, make sure you STAY horizontal, and do a short boost every 2-3 seconds while holding R2. Use HIGH vehicle camera height for easier MG aim, you can change this in camera settings in the pause menu. Instead of using bombs, it’s easier to use the rockets and dive down vertically from above. If you do want to use bombs, give yourself plenty of space between you and the target so you can use the map to align yourself also try to only drop one bomb per strafe. For the tight dogfight turns here are some basics: Only use boost in the short bursts. As a general rule of thumb, if you’re going up, you need to boost, if you’re going down tap the brakes to avoid going too fast. I would suggest you get the patriot mil-spec with the Imani tech missile jammer and covered back because you are both immune to oppressor lock on and gunfire if you turn you car around and sticky bomb. It makes it really easy to take them down.
