vw golf handles are simple they mess up because people don't know how to open them properly.Its squeeze and then pull not pull and squeeze at the same time .The design is from the 40s or 50s so its different to newer handles .

I don't support 'we buy cars' I've been in the motor industry for over 20 years and i can tell you these guys do the most unethical business I've ever come across and believe me I've seen a alot of it in my time but they definitely take the cake!

Hi there ​@@wes7205 im glad i can assist you in making a more informed decision.. So firstly im not here to slander anyone however what this brand does is not ok. So i know a few people who have bought cars from them and even took the car back the same day of purchase after experiencing problems even as bad as getting stuck and over heating etc the answer from WBC is always the same they make you sign a disclaimer protecting themselves from any repairs needed after you buy a car from them. So in conclusion they buy cars from the general public then wash the car and sell it as is what you get is luck of the draw good or bad not to mention the how they rip off people who sell them cars by giving them low ball offers but the retail prices are set above the retail price of that particular model. So iv been in the motor industry for over 20 years and now work in a senior managemt position for a big brand there are honest places where one can get a good deal but WBC is not the right place.

@@bottom-shotta No problem bud, I've come across a few people with the same issue and once they purchased the vehicles from WBC they take no responsibility for defects on the cars even if its problems experienced immediately like with in days or the same day. Basically they buy cars in wash them and sell them. Now i know to conclude a sale a vehicle must pass road worthy however that does not cover all aspects of a car like AA testing for example. I hope this helps.

You have to bring a trustworthy person who knows about cars whenever you buy a second hand car. You must do a test drive with that person, otherwise it's purchase at your own risk

At the moment I'm driving my dad's Chev Utility, I'll document the process when I'm buying a car. To answer your question, if you a student and have money saved up to buy a car, look for something cheap that you can maintain. You won't be able to finance a car, so buy something cash, more specifically when buying a cheap car cash, don't buy a broken car that need a lot of repair work, regardless of the car's age, just make sure you buy something that can take you from point A to B without any hassle.

Great question, so you must have your motor vehicle tested for roadworthiness before you register it in your name as per the South African roadworthy certificate law. So i'd suggest, if you buy a car here, take it for a roadworthy test, then afterwards take it on the road.

Interesting question, in those instances you need to ask them why the car had a Gold sticker but has issues, because the Gold sticker is put on cars that has No roadworthy issues. But overall I'll say, if a car give issues but had a Gold sticker, their Dekra inspectors gotta be questioned. Good question.
