For those not in the know about the Laois, Offaly, Kildare joke. When Ireland was under full lockdown, the weather was beautiful (sun shining, high temps, hosepipe ban because of drought) but the minute they started lifting restrictions in June, it started raining almost none stop. Offaly, Kildare and Laois had an outbreak of cases in August and those counties were placed back under lockdown.
