My best guesses: 7:00 - Cottonwood Leaf / Early Leaf ? this one is tough, it may also be a piece that was broken in manufacture, it has some imperfections in the rock 10:49 - Humboldt Basal Notch, usually made of Obsidian 7000-3000 BP. 11:28 - Cottonwood Leaf base 12:29 - Rose Spring sloping Shoulder 16:00 - Elko Corner Notched, you were right on your guess!

I found this info on that larger spear points like projectile made of obsidian. in the Nevada Great Basin, you would most likely find foliate spear points from 8000 BCE to 3000 BCE, with the peak usage in the Early Archaic period

As a hunter, you spend time in the exact places people that were here before spent time in and it's interesting because a lot of those places are what would be considered remote in this 'modern' world. Do you think those people who were in these places so long ago considered themselves in a wilderness? As a fellow hunter, I consider it quite special to find points deep in the backcountry that were made so long ago and I wonder what the thoughts were that ran through the individuals mind as he worked with the stone, taking the time to shape it. Awesome experience! Appreciate you watching!

@EnigmaClandestino it was probably a great place to hunt seasonally in the colder temps as the deer move there and probably would migrate to higher county in the summer

Re: those first 2 obsidian points: if there were no notches, how did they fasten the points to whatever weapon or tool it would be used with???? BTW...beautiful blue color in that last point!!!
