Unlike Star Citizen, Warcraft actually delivered , rendered, and released the completed areas in a completed game. Something CIG hasn't been able to do with 15 years and several millions of dollars. You'll actually in real life be able to fly to the physical location in the galaxy where Pyro is supposed to be in game before CIG releases Pyro....or any other star system. Star Citizen is and always will be just Stanton going by their track record. Your great great grandchildren will still be waiting on CIG to release Pyro, and the ships people payed for that still don't exist. Star Citizen....the longest alpha in game history. If it's been so long in alpha, just imagine how long beta will be. I'm going to guess around 75 years....and still none of the ships or game loops will be in beta. I'm guessing about 400 years until the game is actually a completed product...and that's being optimistic

4.0 is real boys. Pyro is coming. Q4 is probably only realistic for Evocati, but it looks like 2024 is the year. This is probably not "unfinished". We've seen it far more finished at a previous CitizenCon. It is missing assets, shaders, etc. because it wasn't added to this build. Still doesn't make it less real. In fact, I enjoy the surreal otherworldly look

Try to ease off the hopium. These are placeholders. CIG always drives up hype around something just before IAE to drive up ship sales. Obviously they had to go big this year bc sales were down due to all the mess ups with 3.18 and poor server performance all year. Don’t get bitter when this doesn’t happen anytime soon. Just stay realistic. And keep your wallet closed until they actually release Pyro to the PU.

Well, it seems we were the first to post it on spectrum and Reddit. Doesn't mean we were the first to get there, we might be, we might not. And to be honest I'm glad other people had the occasion to find it the hard way, a real feel of exploring, I hope everyone have one day the possibility to feel they are the first somewhere that feeling of discovering something new after hours of flying and fighting difficulties (in this case client and server crashes ^^) it is so rewarding. In the end it's not important if our group or theirs were first. We both had the feeling of discovering something new before everyone else. And that's great and I'm happy this group also had the possibility to expérience this incrédible sensation. 😊

I can honestly agree with this, they have to completely flesh out server meshing for pyro to work properly. So until they work out the kinks of that when it releases we wont be touching the pyro system. Unless they push it like they pushed past patches and break everything again. Theyre good at doing that 😂 still cant wait though. Stanton is going to be so nice for a while with all the pirating players and griefers habging out there until they get bored and come back to harrass us law abiding citizens.
