Its a beautiful afternoon and I am at one of my favorite Las Vegas Goodwill locations here in Las Vegas. I was in the Goodwill Nj, I purchased a soft precious moments boy doll with attached blue Night hat, I was cleaning him up getting ready for pictures and the hat wasn’t cooperating, I was able to get a few fingers inside the hat to fix the piece of cardboard…. Only it wasn’t cardboard, I was pulling $20 after $20, I looked up at my husband without saying a word and the look on his face was priceless. Total of $160.00.

When I was thrifting my local Goodwill in Sacramento CA, I was looking through purses and chatting with a nice Gramma-type lady and pulled $120 cash out of a purse. I happened to know that at the time the manager of that location was shady, I didn't want bad karma by keeping it for myself but I also didn't want that manager to steal it. So, I gave the Gramma lady $20 and the other $100 to a foster kid I knew who really, really needed it.

I'm the very same way, I rather help someone or an animal in need. the money I found was used to buy food for the cats we trap and spay who need a place daily to get food after being fixed and not able to go just free with no after care. we have 6 outside "rescues" and 3 indoor cat fur children. I also will help people begging if I have cash and I can tell the person isn't faking. A lot of times I will give them frozen bottle of water instead. I love seeing all of your comments about it. definitely gives me hope that there are good people still out there.

I've never found cash in anything thrifted...but, TWICE now, I've found very nice jewelry in hidden compartments on jewelry boxes. Once, it was pearl earrings and a 36 inch strand of cultured pearls. And another time it was a pendant made from a piece of silver from a Spanish shipwreck.

When my great grandmother passed she had a huge antique dresser/chest with 200 purses locked in a door. each purse had a piece of expensive jewelry and some small type of weapon in all. LOL Her son was a police captain so it wasn't too shocking for me. 🤣

I found $300 in a new package of nylons at Goodwill. The bills were in vintage brown bank envelopes inside the package. I took the nylons out and tossed the package in a chair thinking that the envelope were coupons. Was I surprised when I opened the envelopes and started pulling out crisp new bills!

I bought a few decent purses at the Gw bins and found $450 worth of unused gift cards..Target, Walmart etc. I called the number on the cards and wrote the amount of each card down and went shopping. I still have a few I've not used yet.

Hi Tiffany ❤I bought a purse at a garage sale. There was several on the same street. I told the lady when I paid for it, that it had change in it. They said Keep it. Got out to the vehicle and counted over $10 in change. When I got home I found a beautiful gold ring in the zipper compartment. I went back to the house and they said it wasn't their purse. I went to every house on the street. Nobody said it came from their sale. The last stop the lady said. You found yourself a ring along with a nice purse. It was so freaky. Yes! I purchased a cute little vintage handbag for $2.00 in a small thrift store. I had the bag for a few weeks before using it for a night out. Upon getting it ready, I slipped my hand into a little inside pocket I missed seeing and there was a $20 bill in there!

With money getting tighter these days I I do not pick up chipped items because I know they just don't sell for me..I feel your heart about the landfill (my heart sentiment as well) but just think of how much teeshirts that are stained and linens/sheets etc. that are stained that go into our landfill. Every item we buy is keeping from the landfill 😊..I like to think of the chipped items as once used and loved and maybe someone can reposure it they can afford to do so, maybe this helpes all of our hearts tugging on us 🙏❤So Love your viedos they are the best

I buy my mystery books from 2nd Hand Stores. One time, at home, flipping through the pages of a $.50 cent book, found a crisp $10 bill. Also, washing a pair of thrifted jeans, another $10 in the pocket. Thrifting is always fun. Love your voice and Thrifting with you!!

I think that Blenko lavender glass foot 🦶🏼 would make a great candy dish or business card holder for a podiatrist’s office 😆. I once found a $20 bill in the pocket of an Indian silk dress. It ended up covering my purchases for the day.

I love this story! Last month I thrifted a little crossbody bag and was contemplating donating it because of its small size. Because I had already used it I was checking all the zippered pockets when I discovered one I’d never seen before. I picked up a gorgeous bitossi bowl for $8.00 at a local salvage place. My husband hated it. I didn't know what it was at first. I just knew there was something about it. I initially left it and went back next day for it. We listed it. The day my husband told me it sold it immediately hit me what it was. It was sold very under priced. But hey, it sold quicker than it would've obviously, I still made 5.5×'s my money(sold for $45), and someone got a nice bitossi for a very good price. I was a little upset at first but lesson learned😊.

Hi Tiffany! I laughed when you found the big foot! Its just quirky, and fun. I remember hearing George and Danni both say if old glass is in the sun too long it turns lavender. I think it was Danni that went even further to say people are putting glass under UV lights to force the process. Maybe check with her on this piece to see what she thinks. Hi beautiful Tiffany! So, towards the beginning of the video, there was like a marble looking dish that you mentioned sugar bowl but you weren’t sure what it was! Well, I actually own it 😂 That one is missing 4 coasters that are also that pink marble and heart shaped, that sit sideways in that marble container. I picked it up for 3.99 at our Margate, FL Salvation Army and they are so pretty! Maybe you will find the coasters on the shelves at some point ❤

Finding cash? I once, many years ago when I first started thrifting / reselling, did a load of wash from a thrifting haul. I always wash all washable clothes, and when I was taking out of washer to put in dryer I found $2 in the bottom of the tub, all nice and clean LOL. Must have come from a pair of jeans I thought. I paid $20 for the haul, so now my cost was $18. Who hoo LOL Big money but I was happy, that was a fun find. I often look at wallets to resell and often hope sometime I will find something there ($ or gift card) but so far, nope not yet. I did find a SD memory card in a backpack though...I haven't tested it yet. That's my story.

Thank you for your video. I'd like to ask you: you often refer that you can save an item from ending up to landfill. Does Goodwill really dump goods that aren't sold into the ground? Aren't the goods recycled in a proper way?

After goodwill the goods that don't sell go to a place called the Bins were people buy by the pound and after whatever dose not sell from there they just throw it all away.. what a waist so many people could use it 😊

When my daughter was small I thrifted almost all her clothing. When she was around 1 or so I went to a yard sale that had alot of name brand clothes and to top it off the woman had twins so I ended up buying 2 pairs of identical Gap jeans and paid $1 each for them. After I got home and was preparing to wash them I realized that there was 20 dollars in each of the Jean pockets. Im guessing that someone gifted each twin money for their birthday or something like that. I wanted to return the money to the people but I couldn't find them. I ended up putting it into my daughters piggy bank but tried to "pay it back " in other ways.

I surmised that a very spoiled brat gave it away thinking that was all they got as a gift, lol I found it in the car as I waited for my husband to buy a few things at a Safeway. Frame 15:32 Bottom right of screen. I saw an interesting use for 1 of those Paper Towel holders. The seller was using it to hold those Bangles, plastic or bak-alight. Thought that made a nice display & it didn't take up to much space. I don't think you sell many of those, but thought you could pass that on to anyone who sells jewelry there at the shop.

Apparently, some older clear glass that has had long term exposure to sun turns to a lavender color because of some chemical reaction. The Antique Nomad mentioned it in one of his videos. Maybe that is what happened to the Blenko piece.

Here in our Goodwill when they get ready to have the color sale of the tag they go through and pull every one of those so that they don't sell which is so unfair it's just not right but I know that to be true because one of my friends used to be a manager and she said that's what they did and most of time they end up in the garbage so much for donating

I always purchased my son's uniform pants at GW. Found him a pair of pull-on navy blue pants when he was in the first grade. I washed them and sent him to school. At dismissal pick up he was all smiles and said "Mom! Can you get me more pants like this?!" Me: "Are they really comfy?" Him: "(Looking confused) I guess?" Me: "Why do you like them so much?" Him: "THEY HAVE LEGO MINI FIGS IN THE POCKET!" (as he proudly held up a Minifigure). I had no idea that Minifigure was in the pocket.

Hello Tiffany! You are so amazing you bring me so much knowledge enjoy every time I watch a video! But yes, I did find in a bag I ordered from shop in Goodwill when it arrived with three other bags I had purchased I looked some through and to my surprise there was a five dollar bill in the inner pockets of the bag that I paid only $14 for! So really I paid now only nine dollars!
