Sarabhai vs sarabhai was a show way ahead of its time. I am 27 right now, i remember watching it in 2003-2004, i was 7 at that time and i loved the wittiness of the characters. Although, most of the jokes went over my head because i was an child😅, but yeah, i liked it. In 2013, when hotstar launched, i all of a sudden got an urge to watch it again. No one in my circle knew about this show, but i watched the whole season. From that day forth, i have rewatched it i think more than 100 times, and i can guarantee, i can watch it 1000 times more. Jokes feel fresh, no vulgarity, no forced laughs, just pure humour. The body language of those characters feels natural, it's not like waste useless daily soaps like today's which cant even make a person chuckle without physical stupid movements, or insults

Nahi mila ye bhai ko wo recognition jo ye totally deserve karte hai... Very talented actor who acted in good, intelligent serials which had good, old humour in them(no vulgar stuff). Even Mr and Mrs Sharma Allahbadwale was a very good sitcom aired on Sab tv back then, but don't know why it didn't fare so well?

I introduced Sarabhai serial to my wife in US in 2010 and she loved the serial so much that we used to see at least one episode every night and we might have seen the entire season 100's of times and we still see Sarabhai. We never liked any family soap's as they are full of tense music and stupid stories, But Sarabhai was different for us.

Yes it was taken off air due to poor ratings in 2004. It used to come once a week at 9:30 I guess. 72 episodes I guess , last two episodes were short after being told they are going off air

Ye Jo Hai Jindagi was the one, and "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai" was the other. These are two BEST comedy serials ever produced in India. Still today, me and my kids and wife watch them to relax and chill. I remember watching Sarabhai back to back around 2006 till 2,3,4 o'clock at night until the last episode was over and another show started. Sshh koi hai re runs also used to come late at night I think before Sarabhai! Those were really beautiful days to spend with cousins ❤❤. And StarOne was such an amazing channel.
